Driving out there is a free for all lol, but people are pretty used to it. Me being from the US, i think i would be to emotional driving out there.

Omg this was awesome. Your narration too. Im from El Salvador but have lived in the U.S. most of my life. The last time I drove in ES was when I was 23 yrs old. I’m 60 now and considering renting a car on my next visit there in two weeks. I chuckled upon hearing the sound of the turn signal! No one in El Salvador pays attention to those lol. Traffic there is kind of the law of the jungle, survival of the fittest. You gotta be as aggressive and rude in order to get to your destination. My people can be nutty drivers but I love them. Anyway, wish me luck and maybe I’ll be posting my own driving in ES video!

@@oldirtydasher I’m still here in San Salvador and have been driving everywhere! Not bad at all! Better than Miami’s traffic. I used Google maps and did make some mistakes but the app redirects you. Most of the roads in San Salvador are in great condition. I expected something worse and have been pleasantly surprised by the condition of the streets. Again, I live in Miami where drivers are crazy and aggressive so San Salvador was easy for me.

@@MaruHolloway awesome! Sounds like you're having a great time! Who did you rent thru? Did you get a suv? Someone suggested a 4x4.

Quick question? If I want to drive in El Salvador, but I only have a U.S. drivers license. Is that possible or legal, or am I wrong? Please let me know, for curiosity

I think the only thing that you need to carry on is your passport, just to prove that you’re traveling or maybe you can buy an international license.

As long you don't use the driver license to go to LIPS and la avenida. In case you go use protection
