- After seeing how fast the Logitech G920 racing wheel spins around to calibrate itself, I couldn't resist seeing if it could cause me any pain - not too bad but wouldn't recommend trying it yourself!

If you need an arm breaker buy a direct drive wheel😂
More importantly NEVER do this with a direct drive wheel like a fanatec. Your arm will NOT stop it

@@lmarcotte7057 yeah especially the dd2 or if you are really rich the allmighty SIMUCUBE 2 U L T I M A T E 32 NM OF TORQUE instead of the weak 2.1 nm of the shameflul g293 wich is nothing compare to the 15x power increase

@@rafael_13 the much higher amount of torque allows for a much much more responsive experience at the more normal (lower) levels of torque! ...downside... it might snap your wrists if you're not careful lmao

@@TinkerManMick I never tried sticking my hand there tbh lol but ill often rest my chin or somthing on the wheel when im waiting for somthing to load and i always forget when its calibrating its fine for the first 3/4 but then then bc the bottom if flat it just ends up hitting me in the jaw lol

It's amazing how accurately it stops in the centre compared to my G27. I also love mine, but now I know the replacement if it sadly dies someday.
the plastic encoder wheel on my G27 died, I bought a laser cut brass replacement and now it's much more reliable and repeatable

@@Patrick76496 Turning the wheel to the same spot gives the same amount of steering input each time. Not the case when the plastic encoder wheel starts to get loose and slip around

I have a Thrustmaster TMX and sometimes I'll make the stupid move to rest my chin on the wheel and get hurt by the rubber side grips. It happens so quick too...
i have mine on a wheel stand it was pushed to the side of my desk . my 18 month old has just started walking and i didnt notice he had pulled himself up and was holding the wheel as it started to calibrate lets just say its strong enough to lift a baby off the ground . the bottom spun up and lucky he let go but for a second he was lifted up

If you touch it while it's calibrating sometimes you won't have force feedback it's kinda cool
You can turn off the ffb instead of potentially damaging it this way.

I love these logitech wheels. It gets you into sim racing for pretty cheap. Had em for years. I think the next one I get is gonna be a fanatec. Time to upgrade
