    Tabilo became nervous on the tie break, played very passive and Zverev took his chance. The experience prevailed this time.

      Tabilo needs to rewatch that breaker. You can see his whole body language change, even inbetween points, not firing himself up anymore. Zverev starts off with a double fault, and Tabilo hoped he would hand it to him, just pushing the ball back, staying completely upright and not moving his feet at all.

    • @fautless
      @fautless 15 дней назад +6

      He was exhausted, you can say that before the 2nd set tiebreak. After that, he was just looking for Zverev unforced errors

    This Tabilo guy is an immediate top-20 guy, with a clear path to top 15, just about the level of the Americans (Fritz, Paul, Shelton). The Djokovic win was not just Djoko playing poorly, Tabilo is a real talent. But man has Zverev looked good for the past year or so, glad to see he's completely over the FO injury a couple years back. Def a top contender for the FO title this year, along with top clay guys like Stef, Ruud, and the top 3 guys even if out of form (Novak) or injured (Alcaraz, Sinner)...or, last but not least, the nearly retired clay king (Nadal).

    Tabilo definitely tensend up, big time starting in that tiebreak! So passively in his footwork, body upright, way less pace! Zverev took advantage of that! Zverev is no stranger to playing passively as well! Although here i think experience won him the match.. great week for Tabilo!
    Congrats Zverev! But im not adding the title to his name just yet! He didn't play that great, against Jarry would be my bet, he can not afford himself to play passively, or he will get punished..
    Against Paul, i see more possibilities for Zverev, although Tommy can play! His net game is also more then decent and probably good against Zverev, since he stays back allot..

    Zverev doit saisir sa chance pour gagner un tournoi , maintenant que les meilleurs sont absents ! Tabilo a fait un bon tournoi , il aurait pu encore passer , un peu trop attentiste dans le second set .

    Great run for Tabilo. Too bad he didn’t keep rolling the dice with aggression in the tiebreak. 3:29 you see him rolling rally balls off the back foot waiting for Zverev to miss. Zverev wont beat himself. Well, next is Paris. Let’s see how far he can get there. Great to see him get confidence and top 10 wins

    Zverev might have his best chance to finally win a slam at the upcoming French Open. Novak seems to be out of form, Rafa is probably to old to be competitive for a bo5 match, Sinner has hip problems, Alcaraz has arm problems and Rublev ans Tsitsipas seem to be completely inconsistent. Besides that also Ruud is out of form.
    His only threat could be Alcaraz if he recovers well and Novak, because well... it's Novak after all

      Looks good, but Zverev can also lose in the first week without a problem. Would be cruel though, cause it may take a loooong time still such a chance comes again.

      @@Bhavyo True. This year the French are incredibly open. Maybe even someone like Rune or Baez comes up fire and goes on to win the tournament.
      A huge upset is very much possible

    And this is an instance of Tabilo lacking a little bit of confidence.
    He's never been in a position like this before and he should be very proud of the week he had but his opponent has far more experience in these type of situations and that's why he won.

    • @SScott-nr9vl
      @SScott-nr9vl 15 дней назад

      He literally had the opportunity to make as much money winning this as he has his whole career in the last 4 years That's very daunting and it's very natural to have nerves and maybe next time he'll play a little differently.
      Carlos Alcaraz had nerves against Novak at the French Open semifinal and lost 2 months later he kicked his ass on his worst surface and his opponent's best.
      That's Dennis.

    Excelente noticia para el tenis tabilo un jugador que con confianza aplasta a sus rivales si continua en este nivel lo tendremos animando esta clase de torneos ya asi no seran las mismas finales que ya aburren en el circuito juegan muy plano en cambio tabilo tiene mas cosas para ver y le hace bien al tenis ya que todos los de arriba parecen robot ya aburren sus encuentros 😊

    Tabilo was the better player right until the tail end of the second set, but Zverev's experience came through in the end.
    In other news, Djoko is playing Geneva, 250 tournament. If he gets knocked out early, it'll be worse for his confidence going into RG.
