Hello sir. I have a question. What if i have already been married for two years when i was interviewed. What card will i get. Conditional or permanent green card?
How do you know if you have a “ conditional “ green card ? My wife and I got married July 31, 2020 and she got her green card in 2022 . It expires in May 2024. So what’s the difference from a renewal and a 751 . In confused
Thanks Jim for hacking all immigration questions, God bless you 🙏.. Please my questions is, if i get my 10yrs green card straight up,without a conditional 2yrs green card, can i also file for citizenship after 1yr?

Hello Jim I have a 10 years green card and am in the IR7 on my green card category. Is that a 3 years or 5 years waiting period to apply for Naturalization? Thank you
Hi James, the question is - if you have that IR7 green card for three years and if you are married to a US citizen for three years, then you can go ahead and apply after 3 years, even if you didn't get the green card through marriage to that US citizen. @@HackingImmigrationLawLLC my mom is married to a US citizen and I have IR7 on my green card. So I fall under the 3 years rule and should I go ahead and app ?
What if I-751 is still pending and 3 years past from receiving conditional green card. Can I apply for citizenship at the same time or wait when conditions will be removed? Thanks
Wait until you get your I751 approved. You can apply for citizenship if you are eligible but if they deny your I751, your N400 will get denied too so you will have to re-apply all over again. So wait until the I751 gets approved and the apply for Citizenship. If you do apply for Citizenship, make sure you send a lot of evidence including tax return transcripts.

1:55 10 year green card
Thanks!
Citizenship means tax return every year no matter where you are in the planet
👍
Doesn't it apply even when you are not a citizen? (When you have your greencard you'll be filing for taxes too)
@@varsharao86 yes but you can at least abandon a green card, it’s very difficult to abandon the latter
