You are able to do 60 to 70 kms on EV only. That's great. I just got a the 2023 version, not tested it yet. But the battery, when fully loaded, gives me an estimate of 40+ kms only. So I am just wondering, what does yours say when it is fully charged? Before driving. :) thanks
Got surprised because the (not that small) 14.4 KWh battery manages more than 50 km? What really counts is the electric efficiency, namely how many KWh you need to recharge for that range (value in KWh/100 km). Of course the plain range also is a good benchmark value as it effects your electric radius.
The car will turn on the engine eventually and continue as normal ICE car with mild hybrid support from the almost empty battery which regenerates at breaking and such. :-)
Hi Thom, waarom kies je niet English als taal in je dashboard scherm i.p.v. Nederlands? Bedoel je video is toch ook in English... Mooie en interessante video verder, wil miss. mijn Focus gaan inruilen voor een Kuga PHEV . E
About 6L on 100kmh average. Taking it pretty easy though. As the car is quite heavy the fuel economy is not 'as good' as e.g. a Volvo XC40 T2/T3. Still, it is a very descent economy!
Haha inderdaad Hub! Merken vergelijken is toch altijd wel erg leuk om te doen. Zo weet ik ook direct of onze Zweedse vrienden nog een beetje goed bezig zijn. 😉
Not even economical as Toyota Raw 4 plug in. Try this SUV in winter months in ev mode, engine will kick in every 5-6 minutes, and economy it’s down to the bottom. That’s why Toyota Raw 4 plug in have heat pump, and you can drive in el mode in summer as it’s winter without engine will start. Best plug ins it’s Toyota manufactured.
Ford Kuga, simply the Best👏
Better than all the rest

it's because it needs to calibrate first
Mine says 73kms
Bedankt Thom. Informatief filmpje 👍
Graag gedaan Sjoerd! Binnenkort meer Ford hier, stay tuned. 😉

14.4, but only like 10.9 is available as EV, the rest is set aside for Hybrid driving and for battery lifespan protection
The AC is Power with patrol engine or battery?
Woooo you said that the a.c. doesn't work in electric mode? And what was the fuel consumltion in those 61km?
How does this compare to the Lynk 01? Range, and comfort wise

Pretty sure it's the hill assist that causes the engine to turn on when going downhill this can be turned off
Must be it! Thanks for letting me know 😎
i like you channel bro. question is the plug in hybrid mix with gasoline. and that 60km you reach its all electric what if the electric finish.

Is the electric mode only available with the AC and heater off?
No it’s also available with the electro mode on. Takes a bit more energy consumption, that’s why I sometimes like to turn it off. Cheers,

What was the consumption in petrol mode on highway 110 km/h ?

Where are you?
You sound like Arnold Schwarzenegger... I like it 😁😍
I’ll be back!! 😜
Beetje vreemd gaan Thom ? Ford ipv Volvo. Leuke video weer.

What's your age?
No worries, got a drivers license 😉

If the engine is never started, some parts could rust (someone found rust from a hybrid BMW).
Does the Kuga come in an AWD form
