Trying to throw a giant spider off your head only to have it latch onto your face and return may be one of the single most terrifying things I've seen in a show.
The Eagles of the Lords of the West, as the Men of Numenor called them, are servants of the Valar - the Gods of Arda, Middle-Earth. In particular, they are servants of Manwe, the Lord of the Air and King of the Valar - think Zeus in Greek mythology. That Eagle was absolutely there to express Manwe's displeasure at the coup against Miriel that was taking place thanks to the revelation of the Palantir and the mob that was coming after her. It was shrieking furiously at those Numenorians, and was particularly enraged when Pharazon's name started being chanted and he was moving towards it - if you watch how it was reacting to him.
So Bronwyn died because the actress Nazanin stepped away from acting, something I learned only yesterday when watching the episode, and they decided not to recast the role.
The part with Isildur’s father and the horse is from last season. They just reshowed it to establish the horse’s full journey. Watchers probably would have been super confused if they just started with a random horse walking around.
Yeah I ended up looking up Bronwyn because I had sworn that I remembered her being mostly fine at the end of season one, and it seems like with her actor choosing to not return to the series (and acting overall) they felt it better to quietly let go of the character rather than recast her. It does feel a bit bad since I felt like they were building up for her character to be even more involved in the story moving into and past this season, but considering it came down to casting I'm not so mad at the decision.

Very bad show, shame you guys react to everything regardless of quality.
Or maybe they just have a different opinion of the show than you do...Shocking, I know!!
Go back to school, learn some manners
@@dereksimons1525 Nobody can have a different opinion on this terrible show with terrible writing that makes no sense in terms of LOTR. Even if you watch it as a normie with no previous knowledge its absolutely trash. Orcs with families? I used to watch Blind Wave all the way back in Arrow days but that quickly changed when I realized they have no morals or views at all. They just react for views. The thumbnail faces will tell you all you need to know.
