You can switch out the fans without removing the radiator and front bumper. Simply remove top radiator mounts, top radiator hose, reserve hose, transmission cooler lines, 2 fan mounting bolts, top center and bottom center push tabs and slide old fan up and out. Gently slide new fan into place. Was pretty easy to do it this way.
This is basically the same for a 2012 GMC Acadia isn't it? My fan is no good and i can't afford to have someone else do the work so i gotta try and do ot myself

Wow, GM made this overly difficult. I'm glad I don't have one hahaha!
Flush that radiator change thermostat while you at it save yourself time later on.
Just another reason to hate GM and these vehicles...and yes I own one
2 weeks later the radiator gave up
