    hey i have a black one similar to that rebranded one.. is it safe to wear without the filter in public and woodworking?

      No, the filter is what does the actual filtering. The mask is only there to protect the filter so without it you’ll be inhaling all that dust. If you want to wear it out in public then sure, no filter is no problem, although unless you’re wearing it for looks it won’t do anything without the filter
