I forgot to mention that the Ikora soft lock happens because you're ending your jump when interacting with her keeping you moving and making the game think that you've not interacted and started interacting with her.
I can personally say that the joy of them fixing the badge achievement is insane, I had been trying to get that thing for so long and the day of that patch going out when I logged in it instantly gave me the achievement, pure bliss 😂

I think for the 30 challenges throphy only pinnacle drops count so when you exclude the powerful drops from something like bounties or the nimbus challange you get to 30 pinnacle drops from the shown 45 challenges so that would may be the better description to that trophy. Btw congrats to making this amazing challenge
If you’re getting the platinum trophy on PlayStation then you don’t need Forsaken. On PlayStation the Forsaken trophies are in their own separate pack, they don’t need to be achieved to unlock the platinum trophy for Destiny 2. Edit: Finished the video, didn’t realise you had crossplay and knew, forget what I said!
Yeah for me Platinuming doesn't count unless all trophies are obtained. I know technically I could have skipped Forsaken but the vid wouldn't have been as fun imo. Much love on watching the whole video btw I appreciate it :)

Had 3 Hunters, got lucky and hit level 30 that first week of the raid. 10 years later and that was the peak of my Destiny ambition.🤣 Love seeing you raise the bar time and time again though. Not during this challenge when I only had Forsaken and Lightfall. People keep missing that detail. Forsaken grants you access to no rotator missions and Lightfall doesn't either just as a heads up so you know
This video flew by, I love your challenge videos! I was just missing Seal the Deal for the longest time, had plenty of seals but none Forsaken or before. That update was great and I was shocked they did it, it's been like that for so long I didn't think they've ever update it.
As a person who's gotten softlocked by the cryptarch (i refuse to learn his name) many times, the tip is not to interact with any vendor in midair. I do agree that jumping around th gower is fun, but it comes with a heavy price
Some advice as someone that's done the platinum several times over the years. In my experience the challenges trophy definitely counts the main 3 activity challenges, so crucible, gambit, and vanguard completions/score and bounties. Doing this, I've gotten the trophy at 30 challenges every time, other than that, it's iffy whether or not the challenges count
I don't know if anyone has told you this already, BUT if you do the exotic mission rotator for Xenology, you get 4 points for 1 normal run and 8 for 1 Legend run.
They have but everyone seems to have forgotten I only bought Forsaken and Lightfall. I'll let you answer what Rotator Missions that allows me access to haha

Me being big into racing I thought I could make an event with teams and points, qualifying and even “driver swaps” to make it all feel like a real life race day!!! The Destiny Free Roam Grand Prix!!

The reason you soft lock is when you enter the menu while jumping your character lands somewhere where the interact key isn’t an option while you are entering the menu and it will soft lock you

fun fact they actually changed some achievement requirements in destiny i think after all the sunsetting happened so platinum was more achievable/still achievable so they changed it to stuff that was actually possible so that's nice of bungie. 1:49:10 the forsaken on is far more accurate because it only counts forsaken while the red war one counts the red war, curse of osiris, and warmind.

You can platinum the game without expansions btw forsaken achievements count as a dlc sry for another comment
