Just watched it for the first time, brilliantly entertaining, surprised it is not talked about very much compared to his more famous movies
I love this one and it to me is one of Hitchcock's underrated films especially in the high point of his career. The opera chase and build is one of the best moments of cinema and Doris Day should have been nominated for Best Actress.
Yea she was amazing. In the documentary, people on set, including Hitch, were uncertain Doris could deliver those emotional scenes, like when she learns her son has been kidnapped. MAN!! I get chills thinking of that scene. She crushed it and proved she was the one for that role.
This movie is awesome, I just watched it for the 1st time, and I've seen the original, this one made the original look just ok, this is definitely close to the 4 most popular Hitchcock films on my personal rankings!
It’s great to see a film once in a while that inspires such passion!
Yea, many of these are doing that for me. Loving it!!
I wish I could rewatch the movie over again like it was the first time, it's so suspenseful and great!
Totally agree. Really loved this film!
Do you have "Rope" in that set??? I would love to hear your thoughts
I do indeed. Your prayers have been answered. It was the third one I watched. ruclips.net/video/DEuPcEy8K9g/видео.html
