The answer why at colder temperature the speed is lower in contrast with other aircrafts is propably that arado speedometer reads tas instead of ias. IAS is of course hier in colder climates because mainly of air density and differential pressure in pitot tubes but after 400 ias arado and 262 converts to tas and tas has to compensate with the greater resistance the thicker cold air density provides. Keep up the good work. By the way members of 335 Greek Virtual squadron are working in a request paper to the developers of what we would like to see in the game (new types or subtypes of aircraft and other changes...) We would like from you to see our request once its ready and make a comment about it. 335GR_Albatros74

Very nice analysis. I really like the statistical spreads that you have done here, that show the chaotic nature of these complex mathematical problems. You have a knack for this kind of thing to be sure. I hope my reddit responses to you were helpful. BTW, I've actually had my hands on an actual 234 in So. MD, a number of years ago. It was in sorry shape, and barely recognizable but I was excited to find it just the same. It is gone now, having been "excavated" to make way for an RV site and shoreline preservation project.

thx for the help on reddit, and yea that temperature thing bugs me. My neighbor is a retired F-16 pilot and he said that modeling doesn't sound right.

regarding emergency recharge times, I have found in my own testing that it fully regenerates at around 21-22 minutes.

Also, I was able to get around 24-25 minutes at 8600RPM. but I'm the same way as you, where I either go full 8700 or 8400 or less; no in between.
