Living in the U.S. for over 42 years, my heart is still pure Hindustani (200%). There is no day in my life when I don't listen to my beloved Shaastriya Sangeet and the film songs based on those great raags. Let me remind all my countrymen that stop running after material things and dedicate your life to enhance and encourage our traditional music. Make all efforts to keep our traditions alive. Our Film industry gave us great musical composers gems like Pankaj Malik, Husan Lal Bhagat Ram, Madan Mohan, Naushad, Roshan, Chitragupta, C. Ramchandra, S.D. Burman. Shankar Jaikishan, Laxmikant Pyarelal, O.P. Nayyar, Khayaam, Kalyan Ji Ananad Ji, Sonik Omi, Ravinder Jain and many more. I learned classical music in my early age growing up in India and I know the beauty of our traditional music. We all Indians are blessed to have listened to the heavenly voices of K.L. Sehgal saheb, Lata ji, Rafi Saheb, Asha Bhonsle, Manna Dey, Mukeshji, Kishore bhai and many more great singers. Vanday Maatram. Jai Bharat.

I am SPEECHLESS & TOTALLY HUMBLED by these supremely talented musicians & singers and special mention of the Anchor . This is the BEST MUSICAL SHOW I have seen in my entire life. I am 53 years old woman who lives is US. I was moved to tears so many times & cried like a baby listening to this nonstop. In a divided world we need to find threads that bring us together as humans …. Really God Bless these Divine Beings ❤❤❤

This is where we miss "Vividh Bharathi". This program is a reminder. Long back we had a program on Vividh Bharathi around late afternoon and that always gave the details of Raagas and the songs based on those Ragas. Salutes to the person who got the concept to create this presentation.

Jago........My sincere appreciation for this leading singer and her chorus from Lahore. The original song is perhaps sung by Lata Ji, but the way this lady sang this song, is highly commendable. Music is not legacy of anyone. I'm deeply impressed by this female singer.

The best concert I have watched. Good song selection and expert singers with good voices. The orchestra was awesome without being noisy. Other orchestras are very loud and not true to original compositions. Lastly the presenter was excellent. He had so much knowledge. The information about Raags was also invaluable.
Excellent production, I've come to know many intricacies of Ragas & so very nicely Commentor explained it. The male voice needs special mention .He has full control on his golden voice .Each of Taan & Murki were in its places . Madhura ,it appears took some time to establish herself but after a couple of rendition she was found stable & performed well.The other lady's voice was powerful and mesmerising, excellent reverberating singing voice. The Sitar maestro along with most able sangat on tabla along with Keyboard players, Mringadam & flute were best in their space . It was an excellent musical feat.I convey my warm wishes to all team members, those behind this unique production .I enjoyed this musical feat . Warm wishes & regards to all once again & hope to view such production again and again, rose never ending burning desire to see you all .

Listening to the program I doubt if Hindi is not my mother tongue but that I was born and brought up a Telugu guy over eight decades ago. Such is the wonderful love and liking of every one of these lovely songs which are known by-heart. Beautiful program in every respect.

আমি নির্বিচারে কোনো কিছু বা কারও প্রতি অনুরাগী কিংবা বিরাগভাজন হওয়ার বিপক্ষে। ভাল-মন্দ মিলিয়েই আমাদের পৃথিবী। আমাদেরকে নীতি, নৈতিকতা, রুচি, সংস্কৃতি, মাঙ্গল্য বিবেচনা করে চলতে পারলেই পৃথিবীটা সকল বৈচিত্র্যের মাঝেও স্বর্গীয় আনন্দে মুখরিত হয়ে উঠতে পারে।
ইউটিউব ঘাটতে ঘাটতে হঠাৎ করেই এই আড়াই ঘণ্টার একটি ভিডিও পেয়ে গেলাম। আমার কাছে মনে হলো, বলিউড চলচ্চিত্রের অসাধারণ সৃষ্টিশীল কাজগুলোর একটা সমৃদ্ধ সংগ্রহ এই ভিডিও। কণ্ঠ, সঙ্গীতায়োজন, রেকর্ডিং, গান নির্বাচন- সব কিছুতেই মুন্সিয়ানার ছাপ রয়েছে।
আমরা স্বীকার করি কিংবা না করি, সঙ্গীতে আমাদের সাধারণ মানুষের যে রুচিবোধ, সেই রুচিবোধ তৈরিতে এই ভিডিওতে অন্তর্ভুক্ত বলিউড ছবির গানগুলো অসামান্য ভূমিকা রেখেছে।
আমার কথায় আস্থা না রেখে গানগুলো শুনেই দেখুন। নাহ্! দেখতে হবে না, চোখ বুজে শুনলেই বরং ভালো।

This is the great clip I found today on RUclips and I have no words to explain how much I have enjoyed it. My Koti Koti Pranaam to the organizers of this program. Living in the U.S. for over 42 years, my heart is still pure Hindustani (200%). There is no day in my life when I don't listen to my beloved Shaastriya Sangeet and the film songs based on those great raags. Let me remind all my countrymen that stop running after material things and dedicate your life to enhance and encourage our traditional music. Make all efforts to keep our traditions alive. Our Film industry gave us great musical composers gems like Pankaj Malik, Husan Lal Bhagat Ram, Madan Mohan, Naushad, Roshan, Chitragupta, C. Ramchandra, S.D. Burman. Shankar Jaikishan, Laxmikant Pyarelal, O.P. Nayyar, Khayaam, Kalyan Ji Ananad Ji, Sonik Omi, Ravinder Jain and many more. I learned classical music in my early age growing up in India and I know the beauty of our traditional music. We all Indians are blessed to have listened to the heavenly voices of K.L. Sehgal saheb, Lata ji, Rafi Saheb, Asha Bhonsle, Manna Dey, Mukeshji, Kishore bhai and many more great singers. Vanday Maatram. Jai Bharat.

I am 53 years old woman who lives is US. I was moved to tears so many times & cried like a baby listening to this nonstop. This is where we miss "Vividh Bharathi". This program is a reminder. Long back we had a program on Vividh Bharathi around late afternoon and that always gave the details of Raagas and the songs based on those Ragas. Salutes to the person who got the concept to create this presentation.

I am really speechless. I came across the post by chance and started watching it. Even though it was of nearly 2-1/2 hour's presentation , I couldn't detach myself from it till the end . The best concert I have watched. Good song selection and expert singers with good voices. The orchestra was awesome without being noisy. Other orchestras are very loud and not true to original compositions. Lastly the presenter was excellent. He had so much knowledge. The information about Raags was also invaluable.
Excellent production, I've come to know many intricacies of Ragas & so very nicely Commentor explained it.
The male voice needs special mention .He has full control on his golden voice .Each of Taan & Murki were in its places . Madhura ,it appears took some time to establish herself but after a couple of rendition she was found stable & performed well.The other lady's voice was powerful and mesmerising, excellent reverberating singing voice.
The Sitar maestro along with most able sangat on tabla along with Keyboard players, Mringadam & flute were best in their space .
It was an excellent musical feat.I convey my warm wishes to all team members, those behind this unique production .I enjoyed this musical feat .

Listening to the program I doubt if Hindi is not my mother tongue but that I was born and brought up a Telugu guy over eight decades ago. Such is the wonderful love and liking of every one of these lovely songs which are known by-heart. Beautiful program in every respect.
