Javed Ali is a highly talented male singer, often overlooked and underrated. In actuality, he possesses the most versatile voice in India and sets himself apart from others by never imitating or copying anyone. With his unique style, I greatly admire Javed Ali's vocal abilities and singing prowess.
Correct. And he has said that he does not get the opportunities - so I guess he does stage shows - at least WE get to hear him :) Industry's loss if they don't recognize the knowledge and talent Javed Ali possesses.

He was worse than the contestants at around 19:00. The entire “tumne mujhe dekha” song was so bad, not a single person who doesn’t know him can say he’s an established singer based on that. And people compare him with Sonu Nigam.

Oh Shreya is VERY disruptive - ITCHING to sing - her mic should be turned off. She is also very condescending - not here - but on other shows she has been a judge. Such ppl should not be allowed in the judges' seat.

To be honest, in current generation only very few singers are capable to sing Rafi Sahab's songs properly, that's why Indian Idol also showed Kishore kumar special till now, as Kishore da songs are comparable easy to sing, but Rafi sahab himself was the University of Indian music, one can learn so much from his songs...

Rafi Sahab was a superhuman. I have listened to his music for over fifty years, and it is never enough. The more I listen, the more I want. To me, Rafi Sahab's music is an addiction impossible to get out of and has only a way in but no way out. I love the one and only Mohammad Rafi the greatest among the greatest. I believe Mohammad Rafi was a gift of God to India.
Absolutely. We are blessed to be in the era to have been enlightened and gifted by Rafi Sahab. He did a lot of charity work for orphanages and never took money from music directors who were struggling. God bless his golden heart. Rafi Sahab is in heaven.
Heard an interesting story about his funeral by a taxi driver. He was the driver who drove the tempo carrying his last remains and said that he was the only singer at that that commanded respect from everyone in the industry and every major actor, producer and music director were in the Qabristan the day of his passing that was the impact of this great personality!

When honoring Rafi Sahab, the celebration should feature duets sung by both male and female singers. It's puzzling why there are two female singers performing a duet. Rafi Sahab has an extensive repertoire, leaving ample options for duets sung by both genders. I would have preferred to hear 'Badan Pe Sitare' performed by a male singer to truly capture the essence of Rafi Sahab's voice and singing.
