I am addicted to Nicola's videos, but I started watching Si-finds and THERE SHE IS!!! How totally fun this is. This video was SO FUN!! I loved the bottle find. Those big finds were so excellent to watch. I will start watching Si-finds more. Besides he's really a sweet guy and had Nicola's same adventurous spirit. The other channels of copy-cats blow.
What a great place to mudlark and you two made the video so fun to watch! I laughed out loud at the sight of you both! I can't wait for part 2 and the new Etsy shop as well! Happy days! 👣
Just brilliant! Love all that mud, I do miss going down steep woodland hills on my rear, and getting stuck in muddy adventures, sadly my health has other ideas these days and that’s why I just love watching what you do and those hidden bits of history. Thank you
Great discoveries. Very interesting hunt for artifacts. I like that as artists you save history with slight modification and creativity. Looking forward to part two.
I love when you insert the little bits of research at the point in the video when you discover the item. I think it really adds to the content. Love the Fish!!!
I love this so much! I love that you're taking literal rubbish and turning it into valuable items, giving them new life. Fantastic... thanks for sharing!
Love the history of all the finds. There is a story behind every item and the people who have used them and iLove it! Thank you Si for sharing this with us!
There he is hey Si and mrs White , do the snow shoes work in the mud .....? Well ! It’s good see ya all to day We will have to do tea some day ......thank you for the awesome video .... thank you 🙏 Blessings many many blessings..for sharing your videos ......!
Oh, dear, Si may be taking a mud bath! I hear it's great for the skin, though! :-) I love repurposing the old bottles, it's a brilliant idea. I have a friend who uses them for drinking glasses! Can't wait for Part 2!
So exciting to see the Luck in the Muck with you both! And you both wear your mud so well....saw bits on each of your faces and can only imagine the state of your clothes, boots, and gloves by the end. Looking forward to Part 2. Simon and Nic, love that you will both have Etsy shops....have you given any more consideration on each setting up Patreon?? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would support you....you both have very loyal fans.
Can't wait for Si's Etsy shop! Great finds, great sucking mud! A mudlarker would be smart to double up in these conditions, I imagine a fall into the muck would be potentially dangerous!
Fab video...beautiful bottle finds!! Hope you found some glass shards too Nicola!! I laughed so much when Si started walking in those mudlarking flipflops!! I expected to hear the Eastenders duffduff at the end there...lol. Can't wait for more next week. 😁❤
OMG, you two know how to have fun! What a great workout trudging through that mud! I love that you cut bottles!!!! I need to learn how to do that! Looking forward to part 2! Cheers!
Fantastic! I've been wondering when someone would make glasses and vases from broken bottles. Of course it would be my favorite mudlarkers :D Looking forward to seeing them.
Just was thinking this morning wish you had a new video. And.....here you are with Si! Wow! what a great place to bottle hunt and mud lark . So enjoying myself. Love Regards Teri
I am guessing you make it out, Si. But if you do not, I would gladly take over your channel for the sake of continuity. And, I would devote the next few videos to searching for you. With any luck in the muck, you just might be found.
JustDustin O' Thanks Just. Yes those boats lie down, but they correct themselves when the tide comes back in. It looks like they are taking a break. Haha
@@Sifinds Yeah they will right themselves once the tide is up but a ship of larger size would be damaged if grounded. Machinery would shear bolts and come off the mountings and heavy piping systems would break loose of their hangers. My maternal great grandma was Ollie Bourne, "born" in 1901, she married a Robertson, born 1899! You are "Cousin Si". Keep bringing history alive! (Along with Nic!!!) You two work well together. 😁
Wonderful video😊. You guys look like you’re having so much fun😊. Can’t wait for part two. Can’t wait to see how you repurpose your finds. Ever considered making small stained glass windows w/your glass finds?
Simon, YOU truly are a Larker and should be in the Larkers Hall of Fame! Hope you didn't fall in the mud and if you did was Nicola called into action. Or did she take your goods and go? What a great fun video and I Thank You Both Tons! Love, Light and Peace and Good Wellies! DaveyJO in Pa.
I've heard you mention Codd bottles before, but didn't know exactly what they were except that a marble was involved. So you've sent me on an interesting journey researching the differences in bottling techniques UK vs US! Surprisingly, Codd-necked bottles are still used today in Japan for some soda pop! Simon, if we don't hear from you by next Sunday, we'll organize a Find-Si rescue expedition!!!
This was fabulous! I am still laughing as I write this! I am betting that you made it out there and got those bottles - I am convinced that you can do anything you set your mind to!! Can't wait for your Etsy shop to open, it's going on my favorites list along with Nic's! So much fun!! Can't wait for part 2! Take care! xx ~Jen
This is so cool :D I use re-purposed stuff for holding my paintbrushes and pencils etc. The chances of finding anything vintage lying around in Australia are pretty slim though lol Historic here is 1850 and those old bottles are in antique shops :D Cant wait to see your Etsy shop. Looking forward to part two ! x
Sorry guys I missed this one wild things going on right now I enjoyed it I love those bottles and I love what you do take care and stay blessed love you both
Hey Nick & Si... have you thought about using the pieces Si cuts off for your fish? You could break those pieces and tumble them a bit to smooth the edges then use them in your art! 😳😁👍
Tweedledum and Tweedledee, my two favorite mud lovers together! Life doesn't get any better than this. That has to be the muckiest area I've ever seen you two venture. Since I live in Florida, I drink Florida Water every day. It doesn't come in a lovely bottle nor does it say New York (12:35), which is some 1600 kms away. Loved that "wardrobe malfunction" near the end. Hahaha!
Great finds. The one broken bottle Si pulled out was a Ellimans Royal Embrocation For Horses Slough. I have a whole one in my collection, dug from a bottle dump in northeastern Pennsylvania, USA.
Sci! You have what we in the Northeast region of the U.S. call 'Yankee Ingenuity"-- Using snowshoes for Extreme Mudlarking! Nice! I bet you make it. Can't wait to see the next video!
You two do make some pretty amazing videos. Love those bottle finds Si, right up my street. Can't help thinking some future mudlark in 200 years is going to be asking his subscribers how they think an old snow shoe ended up in the mud 🤔
Brilliant and what a laugh!!! You look like you need a second strap on the mud shoes and to keep moving lol. Cant wait to see next week's. Must dig out my bottle cutter to... have collected a few blue gin bottles for craft purposes obvs 🤔😉
Nice! I've cut a few bottles with a diamond blade tile saw but only really had good luck with the thicker glass ones. I think when I find a new bottle spot I'll start doing more
What an amazing hunt so far. I wish I lived near a place like that. I would have so much fun picking up all the pottery and goodies for my creations as well. :) Alas I live in Central Canada where we only have The Great Lakes. I can't wait for the second half. Well done Si and Nicola. You are my two favourite mud larkers.
What is part two? Haven't been able to find it. But I did enjoy nics smile and laugh about si snow shoeing the mud !!I love these people I wish I had inspiration and mobility like you all!
Part two here! ruclips.net/video/osl8BdT_Y44/видео.htmlsi=pnLEwMVrZouDbNZ6

Great discoveries. Very interesting hunt for artifacts. I like that as artists you save history with slight modification and creativity. Looking forward to part two.
Jay Bales Thanks Jay - Yes seems such a waste to leave such beautiful bottles just because they aren’t ‘perfect’...
I love when you insert the little bits of research at the point in the video when you discover the item. I think it really adds to the content. Love the Fish!!!
It is such a joy to see the two of you out larking together! Love it!

So not fair!!! I am sure it turns out to be quite comical!!! Love your channel. Will check out Si's be for sure

Also, were this to happen, it might make sense to change the channel title to Finding Si-Finds. Just saying.
Will Be Jamming Haha. Spoiler alert... I made it... just... good find too
Awesome video! When the tide goes out in that spot it really goes out! I think all those little boats were beached....

Excited to see your Etsy store. I am a faithful watcher of both you and Nic and a vintage reseller on Etsy as well.
Cool - what's your shop called?
@@Sifinds It's called Vintagedazzle. And I have another store for art/craft projects, karalennox. Neglected as of late but I sometimes do mosaic.
