I swear Graeme this was like watching a documentary. It was SO lovely. The production quality was amazing. You should produce for television. I could have watched an hour long show on this incredible castle and the women who lovingly raised and raise these belted cattle. Thank you for bringing me on a beautiful journey. ✨
AGREE!
Seeing the cows from far away: "Ooo, big stripies and little stripies!"
Seeing them up close: "OMG their coat is curly!!!" 🤩😍
Those are some of the prettiest cows I've ever seen and clearly well cared for. I couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to live. Breathtaking!
Kira F looks like the setting for a romance novel.
Is this an educational channel or a travel channel? Today I’m leaning toward travel.
You are surely more than a cattle hoof trimmer. This is a amazing production. The videography is superb, your history lesson is well placed and your love & respect for cattle is admirable. Thank you for bringing a bright spot to the day.
Completely agree. Great wee video. Thank you
You summer if up quiet well, a man who enjoys the history of his country!☮️🌎
So well said, 100% agree ❤️
My husband and I watch him most evenings. It’s so positive & we both love the music!! We’ve also learned a lot. Thank you 😊 from Texas😁

This video... having a big old cry here in Queensland, Australia. I lost my pet steer Woodford about 18 months ago at age 12, 10 days off 13 years. Belted Galloways are just amazing. I could have a sleep on Woodford, spend hours brushing him. He was the best. It broke my heart to see him put to sleep with a broken hip. I swore to never get another because no one could compare. Well you changed that, no life is the same without a beltie ❤
Melissa Chapman *I’m so sorry for your loss...* 😢 *Hoping you can find a new bovine bff soon!* 😍
Those cows live like Kings and QUEENS LITERALLY. you truly live in a magical place!
You likely know this already but you live and work in paradise.
I am very lucky.
Scotland is absolutely amazing and beautiful!! And a wonderful history lesson.
Love the way you’re showing off our beautiful, very underrated part of the world.
I wouldn't say it's underrated to everyone. I've always wanted to visit since I was a kid because of the beautiful land and amazing history. (I live in the states)
I feel like I’m watching a spectacular National Geographic program!! Nice job.
Thank you for showing the world these beautiful cows, living their lives on the gorgeous landscape
Thanks to you and Tom Pemberton I’ve just started a new career on a dairy farm!! Far cry from running pubs!! Thank you!!
That's exactly what I used to do for 9 years!! And actually one of them was just up the road from Tom!!
Good good
That's so cool! This mans videos have had me mesmerized for the last 4 days! Fascinating!!
I absolutely love this video. I love the history and your videography skills. Mrs Flora' s shed was absolutely amazing. I just wish all her ribbons and gear were displayed behind glass and in display shelves to help preserve it for generations to come. The farm should start a GoFund me to make the the shed like a mini museum. I would absolutely love to donate.
The production of these videos is top notch! The beautiful drone photography paired perfectly with the music is breathtaking. Truly. 🤩
OMG...I Feel so blessed Graeme sent me here from the OTHER video! THANKS GRAEME, GOD BLESS YOU! With a beautiful family and homestead! Thanks again for sharing! God bless you and your loved ones…what An amazing video! I swear I just said that..lol, still in awe of everything…Cheers🍻
The beauty of your photography and your passion combined make me misty!
Oh, Graeme. If I'm ever so lucky to win the lottery I would love to get this kind of cattle! Thanks for posting this. They're adorable! Ok, I'm dreaming but that's what life is about. lol
They are lovely and it warms my heart that people take care of them so beautifully... This video was brilliant, btw! Like documentary quality. I loved it! 😊
It is like watching a documentary. You do indeed have the voice , perfect for narration. Enjoyed very much.!!
I think this is my favorite video. Those amazing and beautiful Belted Galways. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful agricultural delights. Much hugs to you and the family.
Making my way through your videos in a very scattered manner…this one is absolutely stunning…everything about it! You definitely have a gift for videography among all your other many talents!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful country side! One day I will get to Scotland! Proud of my Scottish heritage! Much love from the USA! Truly enjoy each video! 💞
I only recently found your channel and am enjoying it immensely, so every day I watch several of your older videos, whatever YT wants to show me. This video seems an extra special treat! Thanks for sharing the history and the beautiful scenery, and especially those lovely curly coated coos! 🤗❤️
There is a family about 8 miles from us, in Wisconsin, USA that has 6-8 Belted Galloway. Years ago, we saw them for the first time, grazing together so peacefully. Magnificent animals. We go out of our way when traveling, hoping to see them out. Great to learn of their origin. Thank you!
So glad you directed us to this film. What beautiful land and gorgeous cows! Robert Downey Jr has rescued one in California.
Wow, Graeme! This is such a fantastic video- it's the perfect little documentary! The drone footage is just jaw-dropping, and your narration is not only clear and c9ncise bit also so very informative with the perfect pace and your calming voice.
I could seriously see you doing documentaries in addition to your hoof trimming work. No doubt many others recognize these many skills of yours as well.
Keep up the good work, Graeme!
All the best to you and blessings over your household and all of your loved ones.
🙏🏆🙏👏👏
These are by far, in my opinion, the most unique, most beautiful, and pretty much most or best in every other way, out of all cattle breeds. I just love them. ❤ I’d love if I could have a few here, but Louisiana is really just way too warm of a climate for them. They’d just be big ole pets anyway. But I’d dearly love walking out onto the porch every morning and seeing these beauties first thing. I’ll bet it’s impossible to have a bad day if you’re waking up to them. 💝💝💝
You have the perfect voice to be a narrator. What a stunning place and the cows are beautiful. I have never seen that breed of cows before. Thanks for all the educating videos you do.
love love LOVE this video. These are like little mini National Geographic productions....your videography skills are exemplary. I LOVE learning about cultures around the world, and your love for your country is so clear, all your videos are like a love letter to Scotland. Just wonderful... I loved learning about this breed and how beautiful and calm they are, what lovely creatures. And so cute how she calls them "Beltys". 😁
Beautiful, healthy and happy cows and their calves! Such a stunning countryside and rich history. Love this episode!
I'd say it's crazy to look back on these videos gaining 10,000 subs and now you have 1.7 million and you deserve millions more. Great videos!!!
Ive watched this before and I've watched it again. AWESOME video 🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹
Thank you GP. I almost cried, its breat taken. My Husband's family land. Well Scotland. Its ashame Ronnie never got to go see it. But his Brother did. And he's right its beautiful, and every where its Green. Thank you for sharing.
My daughter in law's brother had a Oreo at our county fair and got the highest price. Thank you so much for the history and best of all to actually see the country the cattle come from, not just a picture in a book 📚. What lovely wild land with much beauty.
Ah the Mull Of Galloway…. I have been there to the lighthouse, climbed the 105 steps - fantastic view but not a whale or dolphin in sight! Left the poor dog at the bottom where the security guard kept an eye on her! Great trip, love Galloway 💕❤️
I can't get over the insanely awesome scenery in Scotland
I only found this video from your suggestion to come watch this on another video you did. I can't agree more with the comments here. You have some amazing footage here, and your love of the history of cattle is quite infectious. The camera work and drone work is breathtaking, and I've never seen a place I'd like to visit and learn more about than here. You sound knowledgeable and, most importantly... you sound like you truly are happy to be talking about this subject. Very well done.
When I get the opportunity to see Scotland this is what I want to see. Thank you for sharing your beautiful passion for the land and its wonderful creatures the cow.
Living in the middle of the United States (Iowa), I can confirm the nickname! Just a few days ago we were driving past a local farm that keeps 3 of these beautiful cows, and our very excited 4 year old spotted them and yelled out, "LOOK AT THOSE OREO COWS, DADDY!!!" 😂 (Some things seem never to change, and this one I'm rather glad of!)
I never knew they had curly coats until just now, though! That's pretty awesome!
This has been a tough 13 months and I’ve now missed three trips across from USA. Miss it so much and your videos help keep it close to my heart until I can return. This one was amazing!!! The cows and countryside are beautiful! Thoroughly enjoyed the history lesson and seeing the old tack room. Another “do you know what they call these in America?” I picked up on was rosettes....we call those ribbons!
A great video Graham.
The owners really do love their cows.
50 years ago when my family came from a village called Straid there was a bull on the hill above the village his name was Belty .
A grumpy old boy he was.
Brilliant drone flying 👏
Wow, so much history. Beautiful site to see. It's beautiful to see the history being preserved. Would be amazing to see them in frames to preserve them more. 😍
I enjoy the pride you have for your country and it’s history!! Such a beautiful land! ❤❤
1.3 million now! ;Those rosette dates being given as amazing History are a shock. I was born in 1962.:-}
Thank you for the link back to this… my family and I have only raised 2 steers for our son’s 4H, but I have a dream of one day raising true pure cattle here in the US from immediate Scottish bloodlines. It’s just in my MacQueen blood.
Thanks again for this video… it truly gave me chills.
Absolutely breathtaking. I just love the stone and hedgerow fences
You did beautiful Drone work in this video. Plus your love for the animals and the land is stunning. Thank you.
The best video on youtube ever the camera and drone work is second to none

What a wonderful breed! Those eyes😃
Amazing. I totally enjoyed this clip. Never heard of this breed before. They seam like gentle giants.
61 year old American and never heard them called Oreo Cows until your vid. Funny! Had a friend in NC who had belted Galloway 40 years ago. (We had Charolais) More recently there was a herd north of Durham, NC. (,maybe remnants of my friend's herd.)Love your videos and appreciate your talent as a hoof trimmer, educator, and story teller. Kudos!
My father refers to these cows as "Collingwood Cows" because his favourite AFL (Aussie Rules) team is Collingwood and they wear a black and white striped jersey (or strip) so I grew up calling them Collingwood cows. The trend has continued with my son also now calling them Collingwood cows too. No, we have no association with farming at all but I live in a dairy (and beef) area in NSW, Australia so see a lot of these girls. Btw love this channel, thank Graeme for making the world a better place.
Extraudinary video. Outstanding story presentation. Loving the land & caring for animals is so evident. Well done & thank you for letting us share your journey. Best wishes from Australia.
He got excited over 10,000 subs. Right now hes at 2.29 Million. Come a long way.
Keep up the great work you do for these animals. You are a blessing for them. I just love your channel also.
Its always a pleasure to see you in my inbox, never quite sure what you have for us but you never let us down. Another lovely video, thank you for the time and effort you put in and thank you for sharing.👍
Beautiful thing, the love between the farmer and their herd. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful country, beautiful cattle! I enjoyed the history lesson!
The cow are beautiful. The history would make the trip to see them worth the time.
Thank you GP. A beautiful day. Really appreciate your sharing.
Thank you so much for all the content you've shared with the world. It may not seem like much to many. However I find it interesting, & quite beautiful. I've actually found myself in anticipation awaiting your next episode. May God continue to bless and protect you and yours. Respectfully from me and mine
That's a Belted Galloway! Beautiful!
Oh my how adorable are they, thank you
My daughter lives in a neighborhood north of Dallas, TX called Sandbrock Ranch. They have several Oreo cows in a field by the entrance to the neighborhood. I was so excited to see your video & learn more about the Belted Galloways! Wonderful video!
So beautiful more content like this please! I’ve rewatched 3 times already!
Wow watching this video makes me want to put Scotland on my "travel" bucket list. Beautiful just beautiful the scenery & the cows!👏
Maybe you could sell tickets to a couple private videos. Like you and the kids. Just a all around good family fun. Keep up the good work, and thank you, for what you do.
Wow that really was interesting and Ms Stewart sounded an amazing woman. The cows are truly beautiful and that is something I never thought I would say but you have changed the way I look them completely. ❤
VisitScotland should be sending you checks for promoting Scotland tourism! You make it look so beautiful, I would love to come take a look around if it weren't for this pandemic thing.
What beautiful country side, and animals.
The scenery is so beaitiful and your work is amazing. I do not own cattle, but your work and history makes this so enjoyable.
Beautiful, one of the most beautiful getaways ever!☮️🌎♿🇺🇸😷🙏
I love all your videos, but this one was very special. You have a beautiful country.
Stunning Graeme. What an interesting story! Thank you. ❤️🇦🇺🏴
Beautifully made video! My 4x great grandparents emigrated from that part of Scotland to the Cape Fear area in the Carolina’s. I’ve been lucky enough to visit that wonderful area and it’ll always hold a special place in my heart. Stunning countryside and warm beautiful people!!! Thanks for highlighting!
I have been binge watching your videos every night for the last few days. As an aspiring wildlife biologist, I find this so interesting and informative. Thank you for all you do ❤️
You're a fantastic narrator
Stunning photography on an exquisite subject, appreciation by an Aussie fan
I love the energy of this guy
I loved all of the overhead shots. Scotland is such a magical place!! I think my favorite part of the video was seeing the names of cows still written in cursive on the walls. They were truly cows that someone loved very much.
Watching your videos makes my day!!!
Amazing videography, and interesting content. I loved the macro views of Scotland, with its beautiful green land and heather. The cows were so docile, and unique. You are extremely talented, and artistic. Stay blessed. 💚💚💚
I love that you love and appreciate the beauty and history of the area you call home. It truly is amazing and beautiful. I live in one of the most beautiful areas of my home state and many locals are so used to it they don't take time to appreciate it. I can't help but do. It's too awesome, not to. Scotland certainly has Maine beat though. It's on my bucket list to visit.
Beautiful place and beautiful cows!!
Fantastic videography and narration. Very romantic.
Absolutely fabulous! Such beautiful scenery and amazing drone shots. Your photography studies certainly paid off here and you should definitely produce a few more like this. Just love those cows - so placid and content.
This is my husband fav Cow ! He wld love to own a few but NOPE, too much work for us at the present. They are beautiful 🐄 Cows and that Countryside is just BEAUTIFUL 🤩!
This was an absolutely awesome visit to the “Oreo” farm thank you!
You're more than welcome
Agree totally
I live in the states. Pennsylvania and I just wanted to say Scotland looks beautiful and I really hope to go there some day
Just love your background information. This is why I watch.
I LOVE these cows. I hope to own some when I get my homestead up and going. They're so beautiful!
What an amazing, and beautiful place. The cows were so tame, and looked awesome. You did a great job at showing us a little piece of heaven from Scotland! Loved it!!!!
Maybe because I live in a rural farming area (Southern Michigan), maybe because my husband used to work for a man who started a hobby farm with mini Belted Galloways and I'm slightly familiar with them, but I have NEVER heard them referred to as Oreos before. I, as others before me, loved this video - beautiful scenery, beautiful cows, beautiful storytelling!
Beautiful country side and the cows are so beautiful. You can sure see they are well cared for. Thanks for sharing.
What sweet, pretty little Oreos they are! There is a farm near me with these cows, and they have an ice cream stand there, where you can watch them graze while you eat the ice cream made from their milk.
Sydney still has the royal Easter show where people show of there cows, sheep, horses, bulls I would honestly love to see the hoof GP come to Sydney Australia to see the Easter show
I can only imagine how you felt visiting such an historical place and working with these spectaculsr animals.
Thank you for this video. It was beautiful and lots of knowledge. My grand father was a blacksmith in Scotland so the history is wonderful.
Thanks for suggesting this video. Love the history, the land. The Galloways are beautiful.
The music was perfect. This video was a dream. Thanks.
Very cinematic videography Graeme. Gorgeous coos too! ❤
