Thank you great video.. I recently checked the realpars website to now if there's any new video.. I was so happy because developers add a new library about opc ua server... That topic was my wish to be added to library.. Please keep going realpars because you are best reference for us... Thanks... And I wish more videos about opc ua videos with realpars simplicity and efficiency habits...
Yes, I have often used the Prosoft MVI56 PDPMV1 for communications between a Rockwell PLC and a Profibus segment with Siemens MicroMaster drives. Remember, the MV156 is a communication device that allows an A-B PLC to communicate quite easily with a ProdiBus device. Control of the VFD (setting SP, using status bits, etc.) is still done via PLC logic. The VFD needs to be configured to provide the functionality that is required.
In many parts of the world, the standard supply voltages are 200VAC, 400VAC, and 690VAC. The drive connection voltage configured in the video as 700V was done so to match the maximum level of incoming service. All of the drive and motor parameters for a drive such as this are set to match the physical installation.
Great explanation, more videos about siemens drives parameter would be highly appreciated.
Thanks for your feedback, Majed! Happy learning.

Thanks for your support, Derin! Indeed, we add a new course video to our RealPars Course Library each Friday!
Sir, Very nice explained
Thank you, Amit!
Thank you 🙏
You’re very welcome!
Could please explain, where did you get all those motor parameters. Actually in the motor name plate only shows limited para
Hi Vijith,
That's a great suggestion! I will happily go ahead and share this with our course developers.
Thank you very much!!!
You are very welcome!
Cool!Excellent job ! Thanks for your share.
You are very welcome!
Real cool! Thanks!
Thank you!
Could i use prosoft mvi56 pdpmv1 profibus master for this communication? Is it possible to control the vfd? ..

Thanks for your replay and Nice explanation......👍☺☺👌
hi will make you make some video about how to mapping some bit in integer data type, hope you will do that in Step 7 Lite
Hi Fernando,
Thanks for sharing your suggestion with us! I have sent this over to our course developers.
Happy learning!
Why 7OO Volts for connection voltage ? Thank you

When will you make the same for SIEMENS?
