We bought a 2017 Prime Advanced and absolutely love it! So much fun to drive, and rides so smooth. The quality of this car and the build is top notch. Oh, did I mention that this is our first Toyota? What took us so long?
Thanks for the review. I hope some issues were addressed in the 2022 version which I intent to buy I hope, if it is even available because of shipping backlog!
They were not, I have a 22’ and it is exactly the same car - still love mine even with a couple of shortcomings like the glare issue and the raised floor in the truck - that being said this is the perfect second vehicle for us - charge at home, charge at work, lifetime average MPG is well over 200 - costs $.45/us to “fill” the battery here in Washington State and then I’m off for another 25-28 miles

It's just so ugly, i am hoping the next gen isn't so butt ugly, as i have a rav hybrid, and I'd love a prime of either.. But that tail light setup imo is horrible.
@@Jackiewicz64 True, i still dont like it, even the new gen.. It's entirely too cramped in the new one.. for functionality, imo this generation is better..

Make sure you change the tires to the Michelin Primacy tires for less noise and higher mpg

It has an eCVT Transmission. Much better than the old CVT.

I think it is very cool looking and love the way it looks! Goes to show that beauty is interpreted in many ways.
