I hope he steps down knowing that the only reason he ever won a Super Bowl is because of a coach who knew football and wasn't afraid to tell him "no,". Jerry Jones fired the two greatest coaches this franchise has ever seen and replaced them with a slew of incompetent yes men and washed up play callers past their prime.

Bruh defense was allowing so much open and spaced passes that even a trash college qb could make those easy passes
Even if the Offense was playing twice as good, the defense giving up 6 TD's on 7 possessions make most games unwinnable.

You probably don’t remember Jimmy Johnson’s first Super Bowl You could literally feel it in the air when the playoffs started By the time the NFC championship game started there was absolutely no doubt we would win it all The electricity was not there this year I haven’t felt that since then I’ve been watching for 61 years
I remember the 90s. That team didn't need to say anything. They just went to the game, dominated, and left the game. Even when the team made mistakes, they all acted as if nothing happened and continued at it the next play. They all had the heart. This team is small but fast. There are many fast people in the world, but speed doesn't win championships in a physical game. Physicality wins, and we don't have that with this team.

Let's be honest for the most part this season if the defense didn't take the ball away they rarely got stops.

We need to build our O line back up and go find us that duo of running backs a thumper and a sprinter. Wide receiver core is good. But I hate to say because I am a huge fan but we need a QB who is not afraid of the big moments.

Defense looked horrible against the run every game and against any team that played play action or threw short screens. Blitzing your linebacker every time and leaving one side weak each time is predictable and a easy first down every play. With no one to cover an area ever it will always be left open and an easy first down.

Time to say bye to DQ, and start looking for the next QB. Dak has had plenty of chances. He's good, he can play great, but can't consistently be great for enough games to make a conference champ let alone a SB. Give him a budget contract and bring in someone else to groom. It all starts with the owner/GM. Until Jerrah is no longer involved with the Cowboys we will NEVER see a conference title, let along another Super Bowl. The team is undisciplined from the top down and too involved in the "me first" frame of mind. I've been following the Cowboys since I became aware of football (1964) and they do nothing but go meekly into the darkness without so much as a bark. So sad, so very sad.

1. DAL schedule this year wasnt hard, what playoff caliber team did you beat convincingly?
2. As a Packers fan we've all been shocked at the progression of Love, even for his sitting and studying. But we also knew this is the healthiest we've been all year.
3. You can't coach predictable in this league. As a Packers fan, watching Rodgers only throw to Adams in the end felt lazy and good coaching always beats it. Cowboys need to add dual threats at both WR and RB now.
4. Expectation and overconfidence kills teams. The fans that didn't take us serious and the Owner is why I'm glad I'm a shareholder of the current GB Packers.

Shoutout Jake Ferg, he was the only guy playing today that wasn't acting like a bitch. Ceedee pouting from play 1 (seriously), Dak looked shell shocked, our defense couldn't stop a nosebleed. Failure from the top down, and I completely agree that everyone needs to be fired. I don't even know if Dak should get another contract after that, and I love that guy. Bring in someone who can establish a GOOD culture, like Bill/Vrabel, SOMEONE.

I can't recall another playoff game in my lifetime when a team brought in their second-string guys because they were dominating so greatly. How utterly humiliating. I'm honestly disgusted by all of it - every player on the field was performing so out of character that, at one point, my conspiracy brain was churning. I could not reconcile that we could play that badly without it being intentional. All of our playmakers crapped the bed except Ferguson.
At least i went into the game with zero expectations - i never, ever get hopeful. We are conditioned to expect failure in the postseason, and that is unacceptable.

I was at the game and left at the end of the 3rd quarter. Dak looked like a deer in the headlights. Ceedee was standing off by himself way down away from the team. It was like a nightmare I couldn't wake up from.
Feeling your take! Our ability to adjust sucks from ownership down. We need to bring in young hungry players at RB, WR, and QB. We also need a DC that understands you don’t stop the run with a box full of guys under 250.

When a team can't rise to the occasion for a playoff game, the majority of the blame goes to the coach. Not prepared. Not fired up. Not hungry. New coaching is a must. Maybe even trade Dak and some other big contracts and reload with young talent. For now, I'm switching to the Texans. Tired of being a (non-winning) Cowboys fan after nearing a 3 decade absence from the Super Bowl.

Exactly. Consistency is key and they just don’t have it. It’s why I haven’t had my hopes up when it comes to them in a really long time. Won’t even buy any new merch, and haven’t in some years now, until they give me a reason to; like make it to a point you haven’t in eons (at least the NFC championship.) I’m leaving this season the same way I entered into it…with not an ounce of expectations. No expectations = no disappointments. It would be nice to see them win and be old enough to fully understand what’s going on and be able to enjoy the moment, but hey. It is what it is. Can’t want it more for them than they want it for themselves. They gotta want it bad enough to know when they have ball games and show up for ‘em. Execute. Adjust. Consistently.

You trippin. Dak has had 8 years to overcome choking. He threw tight window picks. Packers goes up 14-0 and he starts forcing the issue. Yes, the D was garbage also, so I'm not blaming one player, I'm blaming the entire organization and team. The play calling was not great. The routes were not getting receivers open. It don't matter if we have Dak, he aint it. So I'd rather start completely over. Other teams have done it and Green Bay is one of them, Texans is the other. If I was Jerry I'd walk in the locker room and say "you're all fired".

I think the blame goes all around. There were so many blown coverages on defense that were just totally boneheaded decisions. Throughout the year, we had some of the same old problems in previous years with the run game. We have a few decent players on defense and a couple great players and we lost one of them early in the year. The defense is good at takeaways, but if they don’t get takeaways, we struggle. I don’t know what to do with Mr. Prescott. His is on and off Performance is perplexing and frustrating. I wish he would not stand in the pocket so long trying to get the ball out and just let his legs work to soften up the defense… I think he has his best results when he is moving constantly throughout the game… Finding quarterbacks is very hard and finding great quarterbacks is just a flip a coin because it’s all in there head and you can’t dig there very deep when you first draft one all you can do is hope that he puts the time in and the game slows down for him… I look at Mr. Prescott and sometimes I can see the game is slowing down for him and then there are games where he looks anxious and the game is going too fast for him to adjust… I really feel he can take over a game by using his legs and making those linebackers stay close and second-guess opening up the middle but he’s so rarely does that and he stays inside the pocket just a bit too long too often… I know maybe I’m repeating myself but I’m a LIFE LONG COWBOY fan and this loss really hurts because I really want Mr. Prescott to win a Super Bowl knowing his story and all the tragedies from the loss of his mother and then his brother and I just feel for the guy and I want him to win and have the ultimate achievement in football but maybe I’m letting my emotions get out in front of what the Cowboys need to win the Super Bowl… I can’t be the only one that is struggling with these type of thoughts. I guess I have to say I hope we do better next year and again I hate to wait… I will live in the glory of the 90s in my head and sadly have to explain again to my two little boys what happened? To anyone who reads this if you haven’t seen it yet go to RUclips and see the speech that Jimmy Johnson made during halftime of the Cowboys game and tell me that you can say truthfully that that is what we have been missing all these years… You have to have a coach that lights the fire and has intense hatred of losing and a small sense of doom to those who don’t do their job !

I will never understand why a team with all man to man secondary will play almost all zone. It makes no sense. We play so much better in man. Also we gave up the middle of the field to a qb who loves throwing to the middle of the field. Dan masterclass game

We Packer fans know this pain, it’s why he was fired in GB. I was never able to figure it out but the team always felt flat in big games, sometime Rodgers could overcome that because he was special… McCarthy had success because of Rodgers. Dak isn’t Aaron Rodgers and McCarthy is still McCarthy. You’ll never win a chip with this setup.
Soft zone defense makes me apoplectic trust me… I’ve been watching Joe Barry run it for 3 years. It’s clear Dallas was in zone because they didn’t believe the tape and thought Jordan Love was bad. Then they couldn’t pivot which is also a Mike McCarthy problem. He never adjusted, he always felt like he was just gonna run his stuff and never switched things up. I can’t hate on Dak because his numbers are what they are, I know I just said he’s not Rodgers but how many guys are… I’m just saying that you guys have to fire McCarthy
