Ricky Decides as its Karls Part of the show to provide the game Rockbusters for listeners that he will play up, and takes a chance at "acting" as the only fools and horses cast.
i love how much swearing ricky used to get away with on saturday afternoon radio.

I laughed so hard at this, it's Rick's little laugh at the start after he says wanker that gets me
I've been listening to this years now, especially around Christmas time for some reason. I've only just noticed that Steve attempted a little "Rodney ya plonker" around 2:01 before the YA BLISH.

I can only applaud how in this excerpt Ricky masterfully captures the famed malevolent croaking of the Only Fools cast.

How do they get away with it :P ? i was just wondering as i read this comment :)
@MrCricket90 RG would have put it down to 'not having any listeners'.
I believe the rule is, if no 1 complains you usually get away with swearing. the show had such a niche audience, all hardened fans, and so familiar with more controversial material than a bit of swearing.
That said, they did have a complaint upheld for repeatedly saying 'cock', they didn't apologize and in fact did it again a few weeks later. The complainant said, 'it went on for 5 minutes.' They didn't always get away with it
I can’t believe I’m replying to a 12 year old comment and I’m currently relistening to this very xfm episode, but it’s amazing that the “cock” complaint was one of the very, very first RSK episodes and this one came much later! Fits of laughter how much they pushed the envelope here! Nothing else comparable to such hijinx
You don't like the original Office or Extras?? wtf. I understand lifes too short as I dont like it and im the biggest ricky gervais fan but.. those series are nothing but brilliance.

I prefer the American version of The Office if I'm honest, and I only saw the first series of Extras, I think it's the attempt at awkwardness which I don't quite understand.
