- Selections from Morning Dew, at the Greek Theater in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, California, on June 29, 2008 (caption in video as June 30 is wrong). My apologies for the few cuts and a slightly inebriated camera man! This was reportedly the first Morning Dew Ratdog has ever played. Ratdog is: Bob Weir (rhythm guitar/lead vocal), Jeff Chimenti (keys), Mark Karan (lead guitar), Jay Lane (drums), Robin Sylvester (bass), and Kenny Brooks (sax).
Wow!!! Just as soul-wrenching as Jerry and the boys greatest versions, great job guys. Ando, SD.
this is a beautiful one. funny how when yer lookin at it in words, that ya kinda say to yerself " its Bobby Dew, im sure its good, but how good could it really be?" but sometimes he can really take ya there. thank you Bobby for all the stellar times, the places ive been, and people ive met along the way. see you in Ithaca next month! ( and Newark DE, and Charlotte, and Bethlehem, and Utica!)
You're very welcome. I didn't even realize how nicely it would turn out when I was at the show - as I was getting lost in the music and just let the camera move with me. Glad to hear you enjoyed it! :)

Didn't hit the San Diego shows, unfortunately... but I'll be in Jacksonville, OR, and the two Saratoga, CA shows next week (travelling from LA to Oregon to 'Frisco)! Drop me a msg if you'd like to share some time, perchance a drink and a few laughs.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments! I love these guys and sometimes feel a little bad about taping with video, but really I just want to preserve some memory for myself, and turn on new friends to their greatness! I'm glad you're enjoying :)

I don't believe I do, though I did get a good lot of the Dark Star from San Jose thursday night. After spending a week travelling to see family, friends, and RatDog in Oregon and San Fran, I probably won't have a chance to get it online in the immediate future... but you never know, watch each card you play and play it slow! =]
It was a real treat having Mule and RatDog share the same stage for 3 epic nights in SoCal- Thank you for a real GOOD TIME!!!! No worries about the shaky camera bro, it gives the vid a more authentic vibe...any footage from San Diego?
