Cameleon Direct is a webcasting platform, made for multiple venues looking to live cast their performances happening in their facilities.
Each venue has backend access where they create upcoming shows, setting dates, number of cameras, time when the cameras are open to the public, price and promotion details.
Once the event is published, it appears in the upcoming version where customers can buy or register for the show.
The day of the show, an operator prepares the streamer to feed the server and launches the live process which is automatically made available for customers registered.
This process can be done remotely in a centralized fashion for many shows at the same time, or by many operators from their homes.
In each facility, you have remote cameras connected to a centralized streamer, synchronizing cameras for live webcasting.
Usually, the cameras are permanently installed so the setup is made in a couple of minutes, giving more occasion for webcasting any event at a very low cost. It is also possible to have regular cameras controlled by cameramen behind the camera depending on the available budget for the webcast.
On the show date, the customer accesses the streaming page, views the show live, and can select, at any time, any camera provided by the venue. It is an interactive experience; the customer makes his own show.
After the show, the webcasting becomes automatically available on the platform for Video on Demand orders.
It is also possible to publish extracts of the show to create teasers for publication on social media.
The system is built in an AWS environment and can be easily adapted to different concepts or different needs. The core process of this technology is patented and patented under US regulation.
Of course, the platform is also available on the web, iPhone and Android platforms.
This is a new way to distribute live and VOD content, monetize it in a simple manner and for a very low entry price.
