yeah, like, i was watching the trailer wondering what was that fire on jack black when he appeared. Did he had fire punches? jumped through fire? the ender pearl feels better and has more sense, honestly
Man, THIS is a minecraft movie teaser, just look at all the LOGICAL minecraft references! The glowstone portal (the other blue nether portal comes from nowhere? while this portal is an actual ref), the pigs playing music on a juke box (instead of a drum in the real teaser, which doesn't even exist in minecraft), a REAL minecraft craft, steve using an enderpearl (like WTF in the teaser he just appears into fire?? how does this make any sense??), and the ending scene with alex!! This is such a wonderful job, an actual tribute to this fantastic game! GG
This is not to excuse but more flame to the fire, Why use a clip of an instrument being used for a different song at a different BPM. Like you could slow/speed it up to tempo one and two, why use a clip under a trailer song when the BPM doesn't line up. More lack of care
Pfff, I still think Warner Bros did their best, you have to respect that! Maybe the movie itself will be a success, not the overall formatting and texture and animations, but the overall story of the film! So please, don't judge the movie by the trailer!
Proof that, no matter how absurd the movie is when it comes out, the real strength of Minecraft has and always will be its awesome player base and fandom
NGL. The fact you managed to make an actual minecraft cinematic trailer faithfully recreated from the actual trailer in this short amount of time and it actually looking imo better, is just mindblowing.
They could've based the movie on something like Story Mode or even the trailers, but instead they decided to make it a live action *starring Jack Black as Steve*
The animation here is amazing. The only problem now is that it exposes some of the terrible writing. You know it's a problem when 2 jokes in the trailer completely lose meaning the moment it actually looks like Minecraft. Their reaction to the sheep, for example, implies that its design should startle the audience. Jack Black's reveal implies that it shouldn't be obvious he's Steve. That alone shows they don't respect Minecraft enough to attempt to recreate it. They just wanted to shock people, so they went out of their way to be unfaithful to the game.
@@valen9162 yeah i already have a plot in my head than they look at their arms camera shows fps pov and scream because they didn't realize they are Minecraft skins
I feel like they're doing the same thing they did with Aquafina, and just throwing Jack into any movie they can just so they don't gotta pay extra for new actors even if it evidently looks horrible.

@@alexanderchristopher6237we were 5 and 8 now we're mostly adults and early adults some late 20s, and WB is scared we won't be in theaters so they made it for kids who would nag their parents to go to theaters
And the depressing thing is this feels right. Obviously looks less visually interesting but it has the vibe. The only thing they needed to do was make the people blocky too, that's it. It's not that bad having things not perfectly conform to Minecraft's sizing and logic, but the people just make it look absolutely dreadful. The fact a recreation on practically 0 budget feels far better than the original that's derived from a multi billion dollar product is shocking. It sucks cause the visual style of the Minecraft stuff in the movie actually looks cool, sure "lol realistic texture pack" but it's a mix of realistic texturing on highly exaggerated models that's at least got a unique look to it, but of course they have to green screen some humans in
No, the movie still looks like shit. I watched that teaser with no expectations and with no one's bias in my mind. The second I saw the pink sheep, I wanted to movie to cease existing. Huffing copium is dumb.
Everything about this is genius. From calling the movie "Minecraft: Movie Edition" instead of the boring generic title "A Minecraft Movie", to Alex appearing at the end instead of a llama, which would actually make us hyped and could lead to people speculating and making theories about why she isn't with Steve.
I'm all for this trend of people making a far more appealing trailer for Minecraft, and proving that even a single person can do a job millions of dollars couldn't even capture the magic of. And that last little snippet at the end was just perfection.
Best remake of the trailer so far. The crafting for the diamond sword was way better than whatever that not in game double bucket crap was. Also love the alternate ending.
It’s crazy how one person can make something much better than a whole team of people. Goes to show how early and cheaper the Minecraft movie could have been if they decided to make it animated.
Let's be real here. This is *not* when it's can be called as a movie or film, just a silly recreation to the state how people want it to look like, and i see that they want just a little. I'm going really crazy when just simple/ass graphics and 16x16 textures can handle your watch time and the whole movie over with this... even if the textures will fit, the only time they will is with great lighting, but those textures can't go further to the state when it's can be called officially as a "movie" to be shown in theaters and be reviewed by juries, in some case they *must* be realistic. Watch some SquaredMedia's or EnchantedMob's with ZAM crew's or even some random minecraft animators such as WanXi's creations and you'll be amazed, because they match up all your requirements and beyond. Even tho, I agree that their mc movie should have been animated, and the story could have been much more creative, it would be so much better.
@@GAnimstoo many grammar mistakes I don't even understand what you are trying to say Either way if you are trying to say that the textures needs to be realistic for it to be accepted then you are just plain wrong We just need a studio that has juries that actually know that stylized movies can make money

Thank you for putting this 0:31 , I don't know why they made the bucket 2 and they were stuck together, have the developers ever played Minecraft before
The fact that this was 20x better than the one they took years to make, the Alex at the end makes so much sense, I think the Minecraft movie can only be saved with a killer plot
The fact at least 2 different channels managed to remake the teaser in only a couple days shows that making this movie look good should not have been as big a failure as it was. Also giving Steve Jack Blacks voice does seem like good casting now. Visually not so much.
The craative decisions here make sich a massive difference. The sword crafting to the beat, Steve appearing from an enderpearl, and of course, THE ENDING???? Your version is so much better even beyond the aesthetic style. Bravo
honestly this shows that the biggest issue really is just the animation (and lack thereof in the case of the characters) because jack blacks voice actually sounds fine in this, and i'd totally be happy with that, but in the live action version it just seems like jack black in a blue shirt
Even if they really want to make it live action, I think it would have made a lot of sense if Steve was also animated, since they are in Minecraft and all the other mobs are animated Steve should have also been animated since he is from the Minecraft world Unless they have a backup storyline where Steve was the First human to be trapped in the Minecraft world
Honestly, I don't have any problems with the trailer apart from the Steve part The fact they have real humans in the Minecraft world makes them feel out of place which makes sense since they are not from the Minecraft world. If you see it this way, the trailer might make a lot of sense Although I still don't know how they'd make the movie great this way but it makes some sense And I've heard that they got inspiration for the Movie from Minecraft Legends But I could be the other way round since the movie had been planned before Minecraft Legends
@@YoungAlchemist2 They should've started as live-action characters, but then they get turned into minecraft characters when they are transported into the Minecraft world. Same with Steve.
I showed this one to my 5 year old daughter and she asked when THIS one was coming to the movie theaters instead of “that other fake Minecraft.” 🤣 She SCREAMED at the end when she saw Alex, she absolutely adores her! Thanks for making my kids day 💚🖤💚
I know people will turn to things like this because they hate the trailer, but this is what the movie should have actually looks like (or similar idea). The Lego movie looks like it was animated with lego (tho not from lego alone of course) so why not make a Minecraft movie more heavily with the Minecraft aesthetic instead of uncanny valley?
This feels like comforting a child to sleep with a lullaby right after a traumatic event. Thank you for saving us all. Ps someone should remake the entire movie in this style once it comes out. Delete any traces of the originals existence.

GG
Yeah this is actually minecraft accurate
This is not to excuse but more flame to the fire, Why use a clip of an instrument being used for a different song at a different BPM. Like you could slow/speed it up to tempo one and two, why use a clip under a trailer song when the BPM doesn't line up. More lack of care
ALEX AT THE END. THIS IS PERFECT
This is definitely one of the better animations of the trailer out there. Steve and Alex are actually IMPORTANT in this one
0:39 Unless I'm mistaken, that's Herobrine there on a throne in a piglin bastion! Awesome!🤩
Yep, that's herobrine. Steve cloth with white eyes
100x Better than the original
100% better than the actual trailer, i agree
Sorry bud this version isn't gonna be in IMAX, just deal with the one we have right now.
Pfff, I still think Warner Bros did their best, you have to respect that! Maybe the movie itself will be a success, not the overall formatting and texture and animations, but the overall story of the film! So please, don't judge the movie by the trailer!
@badknight44 It’s very obvious that they are only making this movie for the money
@LisetteDupree-zv2in I'm just saying, every movie has a story. The Minecraft Movie may have a good story!
That note block being hit instead of a drum was peak
That last shot of Alex feels so perfect for a trailer!
imagine if they just hire a bunch of Minecraft RUclipsrs to remake the whole movie💀
I would love to see that happen right now 😂
The Civilization Minecraft videos is more entertaining than what Warner gave us.
They already have (creepers)
THIS IS WHAT THEY SHOULD DO
Now that you mention it, DanTDM, Tommyinnit, Dream and Techno Blade (RIP) NEED to make a cameo.
Proof that, no matter how absurd the movie is when it comes out, the real strength of Minecraft has and always will be its awesome player base and fandom
I swear people are gonna remake the entire movie in game after it releases.
@@ratlinggull2223 obviously
@@ratlinggull2223 it’s going to be like disneys wish movie
this alone would make the movie so much more appealing
wonderful work
0:17 "is that the aether?"
Lol
It all makes since, they never added the aether portal because that means we can actually enter the game!
Who are you quoting..?
I love love LOVE the fact its an *Aether portal* in the background now.
What a low-effort for a billion dollar Hollywood Studio to be beaten by this. LOL 😂😂😂😂
Jack Black voice acting Steve would've been so much better
Jack black being Steve was announced years ago. Many just thought he’d voice act him is all which would’ve been cool
For the first one, if they're going for a Jumanji-type story it could work. The second one, on the other hand...
@@valen9162 yeah i already have a plot in my head than they look at their arms camera shows fps pov and scream because they didn't realize they are Minecraft skins
Honestly real, this movie feels like it was made to be hatewatched
Hard agree. Removing Warner's terrible animation/greenscreen shows that the actual concept isn't a bad one, but the writing just feels... wrong.
I feel like they're doing the same thing they did with Aquafina, and just throwing Jack into any movie they can just so they don't gotta pay extra for new actors even if it evidently looks horrible.
Can't believe they got A list actors, for actual live action and have them interact with the world, like advanced telly tubby style. Most of the minecraft community isnt 5, why does that seem to be their target audience. Looks gorgeous man
Why do I get the feeling that’s what these A list actors impression of what Minecraft is like: game for 5 year olds?
THE FACT THIS LOOKS 1000 TIMES BETTER WITH LIKE LESS THAN A TENTH OF THE BUDGET IS CRAZY. Thank you for your service
Less than a one-hundred-millionth of the budget
@@Bawl16fr fr
Like, this is a few people max, making this animation for fun
And it’s awesome!
Budget? What budget?
@@mousepotatoliteratureclubExactly
You know how to make it better. Mute Steve give a five second pause before he friendly signs. Now that's the Steve we know and love.
Maybe a cheeky porkchop munch and some quick sneak-bows.
it would also cause the girls dialogue to have actual sense and not sound forced and strange.
I'm all for this trend of people making a far more appealing trailer for Minecraft, and proving that even a single person can do a job millions of dollars couldn't even capture the magic of. And that last little snippet at the end was just perfection.
Absolutely stunning. Couldn't ask for better than this.
Big budget movie companies should hire fan creators to truly give fans what they’ve wanted
Okay, not only did you make this look amazing. You even showed that as a VOICE CAST, Jack Black actually works really well as Steve.
YOU FIXING MY BIGGEST PROBLEM BY PUTTING ALEX! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Also I love the animation! Best version of Minecraft: Movie edition
That was my problem too I wanted to see Alex in the original trailer but I didn’t see her
Best remake of the trailer so far. The crafting for the diamond sword was way better than whatever that not in game double bucket crap was. Also love the alternate ending.
It’s crazy how one person can make something much better than a whole team of people. Goes to show how early and cheaper the Minecraft movie could have been if they decided to make it animated.
three people* :)
@GAnims what's the point of your comment why are you just yapping 😂
@@GAnimstoo many grammar mistakes
I don't even understand what you are trying to say
Either way if you are trying to say that the textures needs to be realistic for it to be accepted then you are just plain wrong
We just need a studio that has juries that actually know that stylized movies can make money
@@GAnimsyeah I think this blocky style of animation could work as a full movie, they just need to make the scenes more cinematic, better facial expressions, have more detailed models and movement
wait no but why is this actually like so much better? i genuinely got chills at the alex reveal
You saved the movie 💙
0:30 That crafting animation ALONE is better than the entire trailer
There would've been absolutely nothing wrong with making the movie look like this.
Actually that last scene with Alex would be a AMAZING addition, If she really appears I hope they give her a good cast
I hope she does, but I know in my heart that it is not happening 😢
It’s gonna be like brad Pitt or smth lmao
This is actually better in every way from the original.
Also that part where that guy crafts a diamond sword was so cool looking
0:28 This part is mythical, both in the original and this ver. This is always going to be my favorite part in the teaser.
Finally the actual Minecraft Movie Trailer (and they can tell the story not as an isekai, but some new builders just first starting out of the world)
Instead someone cooked in WB, and made another Monster Hunter Live Action Isekai
Okay this looks sooo much better than the actual trailer though- i still can't believe they didn't make it animated-
Thank you for putting this 0:31 , I don't know why they made the bucket 2 and they were stuck together, have the developers ever played Minecraft before
Props to the those who tried making a Minecraft fan movie trailer featuring real people. But nothing can top this original trailer
The fact that this was 20x better than the one they took years to make, the Alex at the end makes so much sense, I think the Minecraft movie can only be saved with a killer plot
I'm betting my whole life they're gonna make the same plot as Jumanji
Hope and pray the script writers put more work into the story than the people their co workers
Congratulations you won la money
@@JefferyMoore-ts7tb aggreed
I love the change from the llama to Alex!
This is by far my favorite recreation, like actually😧
I like how you had the piglin playing a note-block instead of a war drum XD
AND THE BLUE PORTAL IS AN AETHER PORTAL bro, your amazing
BROO alex's scene at the end was so cool,, genuinely i wish this is what we got because im SO intrigued by alex's story now
The fact at least 2 different channels managed to remake the teaser in only a couple days shows that making this movie look good should not have been as big a failure as it was. Also giving Steve Jack Blacks voice does seem like good casting now. Visually not so much.
fr
The craative decisions here make sich a massive difference. The sword crafting to the beat, Steve appearing from an enderpearl, and of course, THE ENDING???? Your version is so much better even beyond the aesthetic style. Bravo
honestly this shows that the biggest issue really is just the animation (and lack thereof in the case of the characters) because jack blacks voice actually sounds fine in this, and i'd totally be happy with that, but in the live action version it just seems like jack black in a blue shirt
YES! The problem is that Live-action characters don't fit in a Minecraft setting.
Even if they really want to make it live action, I think it would have made a lot of sense if Steve was also animated, since they are in Minecraft and all the other mobs are animated
Steve should have also been animated since he is from the Minecraft world
Unless they have a backup storyline where Steve was the First human to be trapped in the Minecraft world
Honestly, I don't have any problems with the trailer apart from the Steve part
The fact they have real humans in the Minecraft world makes them feel out of place which makes sense since they are not from the Minecraft world. If you see it this way, the trailer might make a lot of sense
Although I still don't know how they'd make the movie great this way but it makes some sense
And I've heard that they got inspiration for the Movie from Minecraft Legends
But I could be the other way round since the movie had been planned before Minecraft Legends
@@YoungAlchemist2
They should've started as live-action characters, but then they get turned into minecraft characters when they are transported into the Minecraft world. Same with Steve.
I know it's wishful thinking but I hope when the movie releases, the fans renanimate the whole thing in Minecraft animation.
All the animators coming out of the woodworks to bully giant corporations has been great
I showed this one to my 5 year old daughter and she asked when THIS one was coming to the movie theaters instead of “that other fake Minecraft.” 🤣 She SCREAMED at the end when she saw Alex, she absolutely adores her!
THANK YOU SO MUCH JAKE IT LOOKS 10X BETTER 😭😭
Can I just say... I love how SOMEONE thought of Alex!!!!! And this is AMAZING!!!!
This is *WAY* better than the actual trailer. I'd watch this over what I've seen in the trailer any day.
I would pay for a full version of this when the movie comes out
the Alex end part was so good!
Much better than the llama joke they did in the actual trailer
bro if this style was in like movie post production, this would be SOOOO much more hype than the actual teaser
ALEX AT THE END INSTEAD OF THE LAMA WAS SIMPLY AMAZING!
