But, another reason I don't go is there are few Christians where I live that ever want to invite you into their world. Friendship at churches here are non-existent. In thirty years where I lived, there are none that I've ever really hung out without outside of church. But, honestly, I think that has been God's plan in my case.

Good morning, Ross. The fellowship amongst us gives so much encouragement as we are living in the last moments of the age of grace. I do believe the phrase 'peace and safety' is about a 'sense' of it..not the actual end of the war. I have said in previous posts, too, that warring will continue in Israel. I rely on the scriptures as we have studied Micah, Zachariah and Psalm 83. Good analogy of the political right and left of Israel and America...that is, Netanyahu/Trump v. Gallant/Biden. We need to continue being patient, persevere and in prayer...it will all happen in God's timing..not in man's. God bless all who come here this morning for further study..have a beautiful Sunday! As I said in the video when you're studying Scripture you have to place events into a proper timeline. That was over a half a year ago, the sudden destruction should have happened.

My biggest reason why I was not going to vote for Trump again was the Abraham Accords. In it it says to make Israel a two state solution for the "Palestinians". But recently I heard Trump say he doesn't believe in a two state solution anymore and knows it will not work. He admitted he was wrong. There are a couple of other things but not that big of a deal. So as of now I will vote for Trump if there is an election.

Ross, I do believe that the Bible speaks to the present and the future at the same time. So I am not disagreeing with you. But I see psalms 83 as pointing to God hiding and protecting the remnant of Jews at the midpoint of the tribulation until Jesus returns to rule. The hidden ones are His people that He is protecting from the AC.

It occurred to me a few days ago that one of the weirdest accounts in the Bible might be a type of the covenant from Daniel 9:27 and if the typology is correct it is not the antichrist who breaks the covenant.
Has anyone ever considered that the story in Genesis 34 has many similar elements to the events of today and what we expect to see in the future...?
1. Violating a daughter(s) of Israel
2. A "marriage" covenant similar to the two state solution talked about now.
3. The covenant is literally with every man in the city, as Daniel 9:27 talks about a covenant with the many.
4. Simeon and Levi break the covenant on the third day. If we look at this as a type (and consider the "days" as "years") this could be what leads the antichrist to cut off the sacrifices after 3 and a half days.
5. Jacob literally ending the chapter by telling his sons that they have brought him trouble (as in "Jacob's trouble") with the neighboring nations (think Psalm 83)
6. God puts the surrounding nations under the terror of God as they fled so they would not be pursued (Genesis 35:5) as God hides them similar to how He will during the worst part of the Great Tribulation.
Wow. That's a new one to me! There's always more to dig out!!!

To my understanding Dear Brother in Christ, is that "Peace and Safety" was proclaimed ALLREADY some time ago when Israel were totally unprepared for the sudden invasion of Hamas when the hostages were taken. Remember , they were all living in Israell, not thinking about war and were ENJOYING peace and safety, until SUDDEN DESTRUCTION hit them and war started in Gaza. Which, if my interpretation is correct, means that we are a little further on the time line right now.
I don't believe that was the peace and safety Paul was talking about. It doesn't fit the timeline correctly.

Brother ross, i have a genuine question if we say the rapture is eminent and it proceeds, nothing that it can happen any day, why are we looking for a time frame or what Isreal will do or say? Doesn't that condradict that the rapture isn't prior to anything and can happen at any time.
From the very beginning we were told to be aware and be looking for the return of Jesus in the sky to gather his church and bring them home. So, this even means those 2000 years ago, a belief in our heart and our mind will set us out searching for that day. So now realize those that have died if they were searching, they will be the first ones to be rapture, so they should have the same exuberance back then as we do now, this explaining why we see the rapture as imminent. If I die before the rapture God will have seen me as truly wanting to go home and looking for his return. Hope this was helpful.
