This arrangement is absolutely amazing. So much more intense than the already-intense album version. Plus, as a trombonist, I'm digging the trombone part.
@Coolasfonzie It's a trill between fret 2 and 3 on D string, then D string open; then do the same thing one string lower--trill between frets 2 and 3 on A string, then release to an open A. Listen to the song and you'll get it. It's really not difficult at all.
Then I'm radio and then I'm television I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone Lay the young blue bodies, with the old red violets I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone With my kid on my shoulders I try Not to hurt anybody I like But I don't have the drugs to sort I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out I defend my family with my orange umbrella I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone With my shiny new star spangled tennis shoes on I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone With my kid on my shoulders I try Not to hurt anybody I like But I don't have the drugs to sort I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out I don't have the drugs to sort I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out Your voice has stolen my soul, soul, soul Soul soul soul soul soul
@MinorSingingAirhead Wait? Is this a cover song? I thought this was an original. I think this song is still Beast though lol! If this song is a cover can you tell me who it's by?
What’s good kill? I’ve loved this song since the album dropped, but I see a bunch of comments about it. They have good musical taste if they used this song. Perfect for film.
Nope, it’s about anxiety and depression... lol. Trying to fit in as an adult. Seem normal when you’re not. “I don’t have the drugs to sort it out” has always sounded like a line about antidepressants to me. Maybe how the alcohol isn’t working anymore (Matt drinks a lot).

what i love of this song is the feeling of an increasing tension

Then I'm radio and then I'm television
I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone
Lay the young blue bodies, with the old red violets
I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone
With my kid on my shoulders I try
Not to hurt anybody I like
But I don't have the drugs to sort
I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out
I defend my family with my orange umbrella
I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone
With my shiny new star spangled tennis shoes on
I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone
With my kid on my shoulders I try
Not to hurt anybody I like
But I don't have the drugs to sort
I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out
I don't have the drugs to sort
I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out
