In this video I'll compare and contrast two popular streaming tools on the market today, Apache Kafka and Apache Flink! flink.apache.org/ kafka.apache.org/
Constructive criticism: Kafka and Flink are completely different things - apples and oranges. You gave a nice and accurate overview of both Kafka and Flink, which makes me a little confused as to why you would frame it as"Kafka vs Flink". These are complementary technologies.. you would never replace one with the other. Maybe you meant Kafka Streams instead of Kafka? That would be an apples to apples comparison.
Nice work. Sales Engineers always make the best learning materials. Cheers.
Very nice work! I’ve been dancing with the squirrel for about 2 years, and I really enjoyed this.
Hahahahahah amazing term, thanks for watching and enjoying!

Yes, was primarily referring to Kafka streams, that's on me for not making it clearer!
@@thedataguygeorge hey George. It would be really great to change the title of the video
yeah, to me also it was very confusing why would these complimentary technologies be compared in that manner
But you're doing an overview of kafka, you haven't described kafka streams... I think? that was a confusing video
That's was informative. Can you please make a video on comparing kafka vs flink vs spark vs apache storm
For sure I'll put it in the queue!
good bro
What about apache Nifi with kafka ? Would flink be out that way?
