Thanks a lot, Jordan. Finally an introduction to Flink that steps outside "well, it's a streaming runtime that can batch" boundary. Airflow+Spark is a nice combo while one doesn't need 99.99% system availability.
It was an amazing video. I had a kind of experience with flink running on ververica it was a kind hard once it I had 3 input points although one of them was in the end of the pipeline creating a kind of bottleneck (bad design ) under the hood the checkpoints as yo've explained use WAL and we've used rocksdb because we had to count a hold state until a number and after that sink in another source! Mate I hope you start next year a new serie of hands on it would. be really good
