Exploring Rio Dulce by foot, kayak, and boat trip to Livingston, Guatemala 🇬🇹

Heading down from Flores in northern Guatemala, our next stop was Rio Dulce. This area is known for its thick jungle and river that leads to Livingston. On my first day, I headed straight for the jungle, taking a hike to a viewpoint and crossing some hanging bridges on the way back. The following morning I was up bright and early to watch the howler monkeys emerging from the trees from the comfort of a kayak. Later that day we followed the river down by boat to Livingston and spent the afternoon exploring this Caribbean style fishing village.
