Simply Amazing. If these kids can write sings to match their instrumental skills(including the singers voice) they will become stars in their own right
Can anyone see how remarkable it is for Melody to play an awesome Steve Harris bass riff while performing vocals on this song. Super-talented. Wish they would go back to the two guitars with Melody plucking the bass more often. I know she has mentioned she stays in practice, but it adds a whole other dimension to their on-stage sound.
Yea, playing a Steve Harris base part in any song is no joke. The fact she plays it with ease just shows how talented she is on the base..oh yea and her vocals aren't too bad either. Wow!
These kids are just naturally talented musicians. They perform like season pros but are humble, nice and fun kids off stage ...typical teenagers lol.. you can't help but love them, thanks for the great reaction.
The expression on dude’s face when he hears her fucking sing is priceless . But I’ll be honest with you every time I hear that chicks voice it gives me goosebumps you all rock
At time of this video. Sam was 19, Abby was 17, Melody was 15, Ethan was 13 and Justin was just 10.. The Unsung Hero of the band is their father Papa Cristia. He's an awesome music producer. He's also their Manager.
I have seen many of these reviews of Liliac but your faces are priceless both when Melody started singing and then when Ethan ripped it on guitar. I agree with you, I can't get enough of Liliac and I am "old". When I was a teen and young adult, Ronny James Dio was in Rainbow. My baby who is 29 turned me on to these kids. Keep digging. You will grow in your love for them.
Thanks for playing this song. I have been a fan and friend of the band for a few years before they released the album. Just to give you some information the lead guitarist is Samuel age 21, the Drummer is Abigail age 20, the singer is Melody age 18, the keyboard player is Justin he is 12 and the bassist is Ethan he is 13. They got started years ago when the keyboard player ( Justin) was 5. They played on the Santa Monica pier for 7 years as street performers. Their dad is their producer and manager. He also has worked with several other famous bands before devoting all his time to his kids. Last year they went on tour all across the US and parts of Canada opening for well known bands such as Loverboy, QueensRyche, and Kiss twice on last year's and coming up again on this year's Kiss Cruise.
Hes running a new Roland Juno 5 now. Their gear is upgraded a lot from this video. The 80s metal scene is their inspiration. If you buy anything from their site, mom packages and wraps it. I got a little thank you note in my Chain of Thorns and Covers 1 and 2 package.
These kids are great live as well at Santa Monica pier. And the parents are from or near Transylvania and dad was in a rock band growing up. Awesome family in my opinion.
This was my first exposure to Liliac. Ethan dropping to his knees ripping that lead stunned me as much as beholding Melody's voice & presence. Samuel knows exactly what he is doing as well as the rest Abigail & Justin. Check out their original "Sail Away."
Their parents are from Transylvania.... yes, where Dracula is from. Liliac translates into "Vampire". Check out "Crazy Train" played at the Santa Monica pier.
I finally know what makes me addicted to Liliac....First of all I grew up with Deep Purple, Rainbow, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, and I am missing this intensity of metal rock in nowadays 'electronic' music, Second, back then I didn't have a choice to listen to female fronting bands, female lead singers, and it really adds a totally different nuance to this music - I do like Melody's voice a lotttt, 3) Melody's stage presence, her way to 'tell' the lyrics with her movements and facial expression makes it amazingly watchable, again and again. When I am working on the computer these days (and it is a lot with home office times during the pandemic....), I end up on many days to listen to the whole Queen of Hearts album, and I have to say, after about 50 cycles, It keeps sounding better. This album would have been a top 10 album back in the 80's without doubt. It has everything to make us happy.... Huge compliments to this young band, I cannot wait for more !!
Two great covers are "Crazy Train" Ozzy Osbourne and "Enter Sandman" Metallica. And "Chain of Thorns" for their own material. Melody voice is incredible !
This was your best reaction..the jaw drop where priceless...made me laugh..first time I saw these kids playing The Trooper I probably looked the same...!!
These "kids" have great parents that taught hard work has it's own rewards. Does not hurt to have a music producer dad that understands the business also. Also, takes great rockers to appreciate great rockers.
Ive followed Liliac for the last yr and think they are just so Awesome,,i just love to see the xpression on your faces when young Ethan rips that solo ,,,OMG,, the kids are so so talented,!!
After watching the last two video's Liliac on America's got talent with rainbow in the dark and then Lordi winning eurovision song contest with hardrock hallelujah
The one thing I think you two missed is that the lead singer plays bass.and she has Steve Harris’s bass gallops down. That bass technique is hard to duplicate, yet it sounds like she did it well, in addition to singing lead. As good as the guitarists were, when I heard the singer duplicate Steve’s galloping bass perfectly, I was just as impressed.
I came across these kids over 2yrs ago. They are fricking amazing! Their first CD will be released soon. Check out their site with original songs. Samuel, Abigail, Melody, Ethan and Justin will blow your mind Rock on and Rock hard🤘🤘🦇🦇
Their newest single from the new album just dropped. I wish I wasnt unemployed, I'd donate and sponsor Crazy Nights. Holy Hell its heads and shoulders above where they are in Chain of Thorns.
Their names, current ages and instruments are as follows. Samuel - 22 - Lead Guitar Abigail - 21 - Drummer Melody - 20 - Front Woman Vocalist and Bass Guitar Ethan - 15 - Rhythm Guitar Justin - 14 - Keyboards This performance of ‘The Trooper’ was from THREE YEARS AGO! They are BEYOND FANTASTIC!
It is cool how the younger kids like Liliac can play so awesome as they do....they sound like seasoned veterans and me a 66 yr. old says anybody want to buy some equipment....these kids are to good....\m/ \m/
@@ckeith21 It was their father's decision not to sign on with AGT (Simon's) as you stated here. Contract is 5 years with AGT's management before they can go on with another label. Same arrangement with all these shows: AGT, The Voice and even American Idol. Like Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine from their 1975's Wish You Were Here album. This song is mainly about Music Industry.
Simply Amazing. If these kids can write sings to match their instrumental skills(including the singers voice) they will become stars in their own right
You must hear them do Holy Diver. The singer absolutely nails it and more...
Especially that Rodney James Dio is her idol.. and her stage mannerism emulates Dio more and more each video
Rainbow in the Dark is another great Dio cover of Lilian. Check it out too. ❤️
Yes, 1000 times yes!!
I swear, Melody is like the illegitimate child of Mayim Balik and Papa Dio.
@@jasonknight1085 Janis Joplin and RJD

I'm with you on that
I agree!

I may be mistaken, but I read somewhere that Justin now plays bass, so Ethan is back to playing rhythm.
@@jpman9795 the voice is super beautiful!😁
Future of metal
Put all of their songs in a hat and pull one out and you'll be blown away.
IF "LILIAC" doesn't make it BIG TIME then NO ONE SHOULD. They are Awesome.
Shreading brothers and a singing Godess that's sings like no other, she plays the flute too, and paints, she has art for sale!!!! LILIAC FOREVER!!!!
These kids are just naturally talented musicians. They perform like season pros but are humble, nice and fun kids off stage ...typical teenagers lol.. you can't help but love them, thanks for the great reaction.
Not natural. They worked their asses off. Played live every weekend since forever. The oldest probably had 500 live performances before 18.
The expression on dude’s face when he hears her fucking sing is priceless . But I’ll be honest with you every time I hear that chicks voice it gives me goosebumps you all rock

I LOVE WATCHING peoples reactions for the first time. IT is amazing to watch. Its like "DAH."
Awesome I love it
Such an awesome review I still come back to watch it again.
That makes my old metal heart Happy!
As a massive Maiden fan I'm usually pretty critical of Iron Maiden covers but Liliac do a great job of the Trooper
They could fill a stadium just doing covers !!🤘🎼

My favorite part of this reaction video is when your jaws hit the floor when Ethan breaks out into his guitar solo
Not to mention Melody is pulling off Steve Harris' base riffs while singing lead OMG

THAT KIND OF VOCAL BLAST JUST CAN'T BE TAUGHT, SHE WAS BORN TO ROCK!
Great family band. Going from strength to strength.
Fun fact, that cute little boy is a teenager now and has taken over the bass, Melody is concentrating on her vocals
Excellent job justin from shawn Overton. Keep it up man thanks.
They nailed this one out of the water! Congratulations to you all. Thank you very much I really appreciate thanks! From shawn Overton.
didn't know the young band and I am amazed how well they play
I'm 53 that kids solo brought tears to my eyes.Pure talent is about the only thing that makes me cry 💕it
Then your really gonna cry when you see Sail away.
Love Suzi-Q's expression at 5:31
They covered rainbow in the dark!! It’s AMAZING!!!! The lead vocalist Melody has an incredible voice!!
They are supremely talented mimics. Their covers are world class.
One of the best reactions ever
Up the irons
You are so great and fun to watch. Great reactions. Love you all, keep up the nice entertaining work
Their farther realy likes heavy metal and is a music producer so they have an edge. A father that has an interest in what his kids do.
that is so important

Travis’s face when she starts singing: priceless
People where in awe of Dickersons voice. Melody is on par and she's still a kid 🤯🎼👌🤘
I didnt think i could love Melo more, but her BASS playing is AMAZING too!!

Every performance from LILIAC has always been beyond phenomenal. But this one and probably Holy Diver made me utterly speechless.
LILIAC RULE!!!!
Liliac - Awesome , and your reaction also awesome.
Holy Diver and Rainbow in the Dark covers are both over the top. I nearly cried when I heard Rainbow. Melody channels some Dio for sure.
Great job with your reaction to Liliac cover of The Trooper from lron Maiden . you need to check out there new video for We Are The Children
Yes, do Holy Diver! Ronny James Dio would be proud! Melody, the lead singer has even been given the nickname of MeloDio by band mates of Ronny!
Wow...holy crap...
Now I want to hear Liliac do an Unleash the Archers cover.
Abyss, anyone? Lol. 🤯🤯🤯

Her voice is great and the musicianship is dead on. Metal is alive and well in 2021!
More LILIAC please, more! 🦇🦇RORH🦇🦇
This band is amazing allright, but the singer is a new star. We will hear a lot of her in the future.
BUTTONS
She gives me goosebumps all over when she sings. If Dio and Joplin had a baby . 🔥💯
I think this band is awesome period. I can't wait to see what happens as they grow.
Fenomenal
you need to react to their song Chain of thorns. not a cover but an original.
william earnest oooooooo! That sounds awesome!
Liliac - Dancing in the Dark i love that song and i think you would to :)
# 1 Rock Stars! Liliac band from shawn Overton.

Instant chills every time they play! Lovin' that Liliac! ❤🤘
Your laugh is infectious Mike!!!
She was born to sing this kind of music and they're all talented. I believe the drummer is the oldest
Sam, the lead guitarist, is the oldest followed by Abigail the drummer. I believe she is 11 months younger.
They're America's Got Talent appearance "Rainbow In the Dark". Short but sweet af.
I believe that song was for World's Best. For AGT they did Joplin, but wasnt officially aired because they refused to sell their soul to AGT.
@@ckeith21 I just their cover of Dio's Rainbow In The Dark on World's Best held last year. They posted it on their RUclips channel

Let's just keep in mind a teenager just did a death song like that. People get praise for doing something close to this at 25...
Carousel 🎠 is awesome can't wait for the reaction from you guys
You should let them open for your band that'd be a sick concert
If you let them open for you that'd be the sickest concert of ever time
