Now I’m craving a fried Bologna sandwich! That looked sooo good! When I was a little girl there was a dairy farm near us named, Berg’s, that made homemade ice cream and had a little restaurant, where you could get hamburgers and other types of sandwiches. They also made the BEST chocolate milkshakes! Plus, they would make milkshakes with your favourite ice cream, which in the summer was their peach milkshakes, from their peach ice cream. Funny enough it was my mom’s favourite, and in the winter I liked their butter pecan flavoured ice cream as well.
It was nice to see an old fashioned dairy farm that made cheese and ice cream as well, especially bringing back wonderful memories!

Love your videos. We have a place not as nice in Jefferson county,NC. We always went there after we ate at Shatley Springs.( sadly after years it closed). The story behind this place was amazing. Always took gallon jugs to take water home from the healing spring. Miss it so much. You still can stay in the cabins.

What! I know I saw an orange creamsicle milkshake on there. My eyes went straight to it, okay I know you guys are peanut butter and chocolate fans so i'll let it go. My Mom grew up on a dairy farm and that was before the machines. I loved to go to the field with my Uncle and call them and they would just follow you in to be milked. It was fun to me as I lived in a town but I did love the farm.

Well that was fun ! Very interesting to see the robotic milking machines. The cows getting their treats was so sweet. My sister-in-law has cows on her homestead, and they are like great big dogs. The cheese store would be dangerous for us ,we LOVE cheese. Thank you for taking us along 😉 Blessings !

I know it maybe more of a Wisconsin thing, but in the cheese shop did you notice if they sell cheese curds? Love the bologna sandwich. That would have been my choice.

I don’t remember seeing any cheese curds, although I have gotten them at the Amish stores and they are delicious!🤤

No skinny straws. I HATE when I get skinny straws with milkshakes.
