How cool that this was preserved. Man, the bass players' pants are excellent! wish I could find a pair of those pants somewhere. And how about that off-kilter version of The Who's, I Can't Explain!? Wow!
Wow. First I heard Elton was on a mid-night radio show called Waves on a Knoxville, TN station in the early 80s (WIMZ, maybe) Also played Iggy Pop, Candy Creme and the Wet Dream, and many other New Wave/Punk bands. I'd set my alarm (as my bed time was before midnight) so I could put on Radio Shack/Realistic headphones and listen while I taped the show. AWESOME!
