The Tempest got AP so i guess it's gonna do better against the armored zombie in the death row .
And to be fair the Tempest is going to be the go to gun for most common folk since not everyone is willing to spend $500 to get the UWC .
Lets just acknowledge the fact that Heavy MGs shoot pellets 😂😂😂🔫
According to the wiki tempest is 4 pellets where UWC is 3 so i guess theoretically the tempest does have a knockback advantage

Well... tempest actually does more damage than UWC "in deathrow DURING an aggro spike". UWC has only 10% AP and during an aggro spike in DR where like 70-90% of he mob is armoured tempest with 4 pellets and 50% AP easily does more. So if u trigger too many aggro in DR tempest is a far safer choice. Anywhere else and id fire uwc. Then again saying from experience, but that doesnt mean uwc is not enough for DR.
Tempest is actually pretty useless in SEZ if you really think about it. Why do we go to the SEZ? To loot. So if I'm looting then I'll be in a building most of the time which means I can just take care of hordes with a GL behind a wall. For boss aggro it doesn't spawn 100% armored enemies like normal hordes do. So all the Tempest has going for it is more KB tbh.
Tempest is good in wastelands

That's very true, SEZ is the looting zone! Still a disappointment that the UWC doesnt perform as well in DR compared to the Tempest because of the AP.. Especially since you spend like $550.

If they didnt released WCU i think they could still go with the heavy power creep on the weapons each big update they do, but man here we are getting chained to the Wraith Cannon dilema.

Not only does the tempest have greater knock back, it also has better armour penetration. The main benefit of the WC is that there's an unlimited ammo version but not everyone is willing to pay $500. The tempest is actually better in deathrow.

Wraith Cannon is still a best minigun overall similar to the Chimney Sweeper which is the best shotgun overall. WC has more damage, 10% ap, and unlimited ammo. There are no miniguns that are better than WC.
The dawn striker has more dps, better crowd control since it shoots fast and 100% armour penetration so it's the best shotgun overall and not chimney

But chimney has a tighter spread than gaw, so yeah i see your point. The wide spread of gaw works in dr because of the insta-enrage state that the zeds have down there. Helps clear off the aggro.

Because it would take a year just to get the DF cash for the tempest and I don’t want to do that four times over 😆
The tempest is really my late game goal. I could save the credits for a couple of years of gm to you get what 2400 credits a year with gm? Still that would take forever to get the wc lol

@@crashedserver2272 Unless you loot everyday and get loot drops that have .05% chance to drop you aren’t gonna get enough DF cash to buy a UWC you realize how much 15k credits cost in DF cash right? That’s 4.5E10 you would have to have multiple Alts maxed on cash to get that or hit the money cap and blow it all on credits multiple times 🤣

In my opinion according to the statistics the tempest is basically an "improvement" of the GAU-19 since for a few points of damage the surpasses but is not better than a wraith cannon... the tempest is good to go to the new area as its 50% AP is greater than 10% of the WC but outside that area is almost a GAU-19 of 14mm. tempest win for crown control in everywhere but WC kill Faster but in death row Tempest win WC/UWC.
hareraiser is better than tempest because it's way cheaper to craft and it has cheaper ammo and has the same dps
Not baby canon but this GAU REVAMP.
So anyone else seeing weapons giving slow alements to mobs including bosses? Been seeing players shooting at bosses and zombies that turn the mobs blue and then after that the mobs move uber slow in areas. Just curious since I haven't seen anything on the forums about any effects for weapons other than the standard stat's.
Some new weapons deal cryo/cold damage. Probably what you're seeing.

I use wraith cannon in DR and its fine. Tempest is good but i dont like to use it in DR.
