Good enough but i wanted more action. Everything builded up to the end but I wanted a nice main villain battle like the first one but he took out everyone without a scratch in the end
Yeah agree, this one was more of the meaning behind it and stuff, but man I wish there were more fight scenes like in the first 2, like when he grabbed his watch I thought shit was about to get real, in addition with the camera work like in the car scene from the 2nd film, wish they had more of that
I believe they really couldn’t do all that because Denzel is older now. I don’t see him wanting to have a stunt double to do a majority of the action scenes
It depends on who’s watching. As someone who hasn’t seen the previous films, the movie just felt slow and boring. The opening was great but the only other times action would occur, it felt like it came out of nowhere due to how slow the movie felt. We would be half asleep and someone would be tossed out a window or an explosion would occur that felt so unexpected. The whole film was mainly just conversations with the main character eating in every seen he’s in (pretty much became a joke between friends). The man literally kills a guy and proceeded to eat while walking away.
Barbie became available today for streaming on my family's hacked Fire TV and I still don't care for it after my rewatch for it. There are some emotional parts that are decent enough. That Billie Eilish song, "What Was I Made For?", is a nice little tune that made the mothers' home video scene quite touching. I get it with how growing up from a girl into womanhood is a struggle or the struggles being human in general. I get all the double standards that America Ferrera/Ugly Betty was saying. But I think this movie fluked like Super Mario Bros. the Movie fluked in the box office. A sequel will make far less and these top grossing movies will be quickly forgotten after a year. They're high grossing mid movies. As for Oppenheimer, it's not my favorite movie of the year but it's the best movie of the year and perhaps of this entire decade so far. IMDb has it at 8.7. It should be the frontrunner for Best Picture and Nolan will finally win his first Oscar. Now if you ask which one do I prefer: Top Gun: Maverick or Oppenheimer? Easily TG: M. It's more of the crowd pleaser and way more rewatchable. But Oppenheimer is the better film and with the more important message. TG: M is Navy's modern A New Hope with Navy propaganda which the original Top Gun was also known for but at least it made us appreciate military for risking their lives for us. I think Oppenheimer and Top Gun: Maverick are the two best blockbusters of the decade. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is also up there for me. Might be the best superhero film of the decade but I since it's animation, I have a bias towards the more flawed No Way Home for being live-action. I saw Avatar 2 and it was boring like the first one. Felt like a Vin Diesel movie about "family" with all the stupid summer blockbuster logic that comes with it. That's not even in the same class as the other two in terms of entertainment quality and TG: M has it's share of stupid logic like Mav keeps getting promoted by disobeying orders and crashing expensive planes and surviving a crash going Mach 10.2 or 7,800+ MPH! Oppenheimer, Top Gun: Maverick, Andor, and The Last Dance are the four best things I've watched first released in this decade. But my personal favorite is Loki. Can't wait a month for it but it could still disappoint like Mando S3 and a lot of what MCU projects have done the last 3 years. Best Film Of The 2020s? Oppenheimer My Favorite Film Of The 2020s? Elvis Top Gun: Maverick is close but I rewatched Elvis a little more. Best TV Series *Released* In The 2020s? I don't watch a lot of TV shows. I would say House Of The Dragon so far. A series could be limited to one season ala WandaVision or it could have multiple ones. My Favorite TV Series *Released* In The 2020s? The Boys came out in 2019 and my favorite season is still that first one in 2019. I like Stranger Things (first released in 2016) and thought S4 was their best one but I don't love that show like others do. Probably Loki (2021) but if S2 disappoints next month, then back to HOT D or Andor if S2 matches their S1 in quality. Just a heads up, but I'm hearing from Josh of The Den of Nerds that Ahsoka's Episode 5 is going to break the Internet. The episode that drops 9 days from now.
It was a good movie with some creative kills but they should've made the little brother the villain. Had him kill his older brother and torture the head cop for a bit would've made him a villain we want to see get killed
I don't know it's supposed to be an action thriller but it's mostly him walking around Italy talking to people and 3 really short action scenes they were entertaining but there should have been more
Hey Sean! Do you think, in the future, and if you want to, that you'd be interested in making a video where, in your opinion, you list your picks for MCU movies that deserved rotten splats even though their have positive views on Rotten Tomatoes?
Spoiler alert: The way he kills the bad guy in the end is so badass, made him overdose on the drug he was buying and just followed him in the streets like I’ve never seen anything like that hefore
Don't know. This one just came out. Seemed like they wanted it to be a finale. The buzz and speculation is about a prequel with Washington's son taking over.
Haven’t seen any Equalizer film. How good is the action? Would you say it’s on the level of say Extraction or Bourne? Like what are your thoughts on the action fight or shootout scenes?
I suggest watching them. Equaliser one is my favourite lots of action and good plot. Equalizer two is average but still has good action and plot but overall forgettable. Number 3 is very good, very good location and great villain. It’s not Extraction level of action it’s more plot driven but you should watch the trilogy.
@@andrewpennys823 Gotcha. Thanks, man. Appreciate your thoughts! I’ll definitely watch them when I get the chance. I know Equalizer is in the action genre, but whenever people talk about those movies, the action itself is never the first, second or third thing people talk about, so I was kinda curious about what these movies are, so it makes sense that they’re more plot based movies rather than John Wick or Nobody. But yeah, I’ll check em out, thanks for the recommendation👍
The most personal yet Memorable action of the franchise, great diabolical menasculing villain Phillip Seymour Hoffman kills it as usual. Ethan Hunt, The IMF team etc.. are phenomenal in here. Reason why I'd continue to get invested in this franchise. 8/10
I saw the movie early Thursday afternoon, and I liked it enough that I can recommend it. I'm honestly not the biggest fan of this trilogy, but I can say that this one's the best. Honestly, the best movie out this weekend is 'Bottoms'.
Meh. I honestly think this is my least favorite. It’s just doing the same old thing over and over with going to another country and being at the right place at the right time seeing another gang doing something bad and tells them they have a choice and don’t listen and they end up dead. What makes this worse than the others is there’s no build up. It’s just one action scene, then a lot of drinking tea and walking, and then action at the very end. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately I did not
I watched it today! It's a good enough considering its previous films. It's not about the action but more about heart in the film
Love from India!
Exactly this
This is perfectly said. The writing was awesome

Haven't seen it yet, but I love that Dakota Fanning is in it with Denzel. They were so good in "Man on Fire" together.
It depends on who’s watching. As someone who hasn’t seen the previous films, the movie just felt slow and boring. You really should watch the other films. Jumping in on the third one is a bit tough because a lot of the ending is connected to the other films
Watched it in IMAX, really enjoyed it 8/10
I really enjoyed this one a lot! Not perfect, but a solid 8/10 action flick!

It’s a great movie. The build up takes a second, but the pay off is nice
It was definitely slower and more drawn out for sure
Just previewed....it's great! Very emotional.....
Nice to hear its good, literally just finished watching the first movie 5 minutes ago and enjoyed it a lot
It was a good movie with some creative kills but they should've made the little brother the villain. Had him kill his older brother and torture the head cop for a bit would've made him a villain we want to see get killed
We’re u able to understand what they were saying
I like a list on this. I liked 1 a lot more than 2. I’ll maybe wait till streaming for this one though
I don't know it's supposed to be an action thriller but it's mostly him walking around Italy talking to people and 3 really short action scenes they were entertaining but there should have been more

Its going to be very difficult to top the original. Martin Csokas as Teddy brought things up a notch. Part 2 felt like a significant drop off
I didn’t think it would top the first, but it did for me. It has everything: action, suspense, and heart.
Hair gains!! 👍🏼
Spoiler alert:
The way he kills the bad guy in the end is so badass, made him overdose on the drug he was buying and just followed him in the streets like I’ve never seen anything like that hefore
That was awesome!
He's like the embodiment of death. Taking great pleasure in watching the light fade from your eyes.
That was legit the coldest thing I’ve ever seen 🥶
Will they be making an equalizer 4?
Don't know. This one just came out. Seemed like they wanted it to be a finale. The buzz and speculation is about a prequel with Washington's son taking over.
He's like fucking Micheal Myers or Jason in this film when he's going to work.
Antoine ranking?

Antoine Fuqua Top 5 vs Michael Bay Top 5?
When is he going to 1v1 Cash?

Wrong series maye
My mom is making me watch this today 😢
I think compared to the first and second it’s definitely the weakest but it wasn’t a bad movie
Cool movie
Nice 👍🙂
Can you make a review on an Indian Film called Jailer it's trending and really good Recently watch with subtitles i think you'll like it
Ignore it , lame movie.
Haven't watched it yet, but will eventually watch once it reaches streaming.
Don't agree...it was too slow and too predictable to enjoy....slickly made but too blah
I saw the movie early Thursday afternoon, and I liked it enough that I can recommend it. I'm honestly not the biggest fan of this trilogy, but I can say that this one's the best.

Nice review I loved it
