Thanks for the review. I've watched a few of your videos and it would be helpful if you mentioned any battery saving tech or special features either in the bios or software that these manufacturers include. I'm currently looking for a laptop and to suit my use case, I need one that can power on when power is detected and also limit the maximum battery charge. You would think features such as this would be published somewhere but practically have to own one to find out.

Hi I have 3 Dell XPs 15 9530 i9 computers. I can't find the Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics card. It's only the Intel iris graphics card that comes out, please help

Great review! I just wondering if Lenovo has something on par with Dell XPS/Precission with large trackpad, I have bad experience with XPS/Precission especially with the rubber coating 😮‍💨and I'm a long term user as I won't change laptop every month or year 😅

Thanks @VowzeeTube for the 15" there isn't anything really to compete with the XPS/Precision especially with the large trackpad as the Thinkpad P16s is meant to be same market as the XPS15/Precision55xx but if you looking at the 13" section the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Nano is the competitor to the XPS13. I know what your are talking about the rubber coating. The few months ago I was complaining to my collegue about the sticky coating after some years of use on these laptops and we found and I tested it out, just use a bit of combo of little water with baking soda mixture to make a gloo and rub that over the sticky coating and then wipe it right off, works like a treat!

Check out the Thinkpad Z16, or Z13 for a smaller form factor. Heard great things about their trackpad especially, plus if you’re willing to sacrifice a tiny bit of performance for a major bargain the first generation Z16 is on a massive sale right now

Opps I missed this section lol, I got in PCmark10 Battery test: Modern Office 13hr 9mins and Gaming was 1hr 19mins. Unfortunely Procyon was one of the software that didn't like the Intel Arc.

i own a 9510, this laptop has the worst thermal performance ever. probably intel chips got little more efficient with power but they really need to work on thermal performance of this laptop even if it comes at the cost of design changes. If you put it on your lap it literally heats up while watching youtube. Laptop looks great visually but If it came with windows, i would buy macbook on a heartbeat honestly. got a M1 mac as work laptop and it runs pretty quiet and cool, only downside is macos is a useless operating system

I agree on the thermals I have been noting and making people aware of the bad thermal performance in the 15 inch XPS/Precision 55xx. This isn't an issue in the 17 inch as the thermal solution is completely different which I think they should implement into the 15 inch.
