    First off I absolutely love your channel and you have set me on a path to learn Polish. I have purchased flash cards from your website and even started paying for classes. I have been going strong now for a while. This video made me laugh so hard when you said "masz problem?" with your tone and the way you looked becuase I accidentally bumped into someone in Gdansk and that was the reaction I recieved!! haha. I responded with "pzrepraszam, nie szkodzi". I would love a video on prepositions as I for some reason cannot grasp when to use what especially in direct dialogue. It is hard to interpret what is being said, knowing my response, and formulating the retorted sentence as it is much less determining what case (acc, nom, inst, etc etc) it is. Overall your the best and I will always refer to your channel for further knowledge. Thank you for what you do!! Kocham Polski z Monika bardzo!

      Thank you so much!
      True, prepositions are pretty challenging. I can think of creating a video (or more likely a series of videos) presenting words like "w", "na", "z" etc. in a digestible form. :)

    Thank you alot but Ja mam pytanie
    Why do you add u to the words when there is a negation in the sentence?

    • @PolishwithMonika
      @PolishwithMonika  11 месяцев назад +1

      In sencences "Mam czas" (I have time) and "Nie mam czasu" (I don't have time), we have the word "czas" in two different cases (accusative in the first sentence, genitive in the second sentence). This trick happens (accussative → genitive) to direct objects in negative sentences.
      If you'd like to learn more about the Polish cases, you can have a look at my videos:
      Accusative case: ruclips.net/video/AwTvZMt-EOs/видео.html

    Mam problem
    Nie mam problemU
    Why does the negative form have a U at the end in "problemu"?

    • @PolishwithMonika
      @PolishwithMonika  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, "problemu" is a word in the genitive case. We use this case for direct objects in negative sentences. You can learn more about the genitive case more from my video: ruclips.net/video/hKRq1DX5Rq8/видео.html
