Also, the fact that you test them in a rocket stove right in the middle of this dust factory is beyond unbelievable, like you are wanting the whole place to just torch up

It would be interesting to see these pellets being used in their intended use. For instance melting aluminum or metal, cooking ect.

Carrying the stuff around, all manual loading, non existence of easy transportation, lack of carts...strone age level.
It shows the logistics before the wheel was invented.

So many "carrying" processes could easily be taken away if you just moved the machines closer to each other lol... like why doesnt the sifter drain into the bin for the escavator that goes into the pellet press, and then why does that not drain into the vibrating table.. so on and so on... its strange that you have each process just dump out onto the floor and then someone has to carry to the next process..

More than likely, the labor is less expensive than the costs to maintain the conveyors that wold be needed at each stage. It looks like much of it is Rube Goldburg design and probably fails quite frequently.

Lack of PPE and breathing apparatus was scary, but we can't judge everyone by 1st world standards yet. The damage that sawdust will do to lungs is terrifying. The guy towards the end humping those full bags up on to the lorry was an absolute monster. He even jogged with a bag on his shoulder, wow.... just wow. Really interesting video and process. Here's hoping good health and long lives for all the workers involved.

I spent a month breathing in sawdust from sanding wood the mask was pissing me off making me sweet into me eyes so had to keep removing wipe my eyes, I ended up putting on the shelf, I paid the price with being rushed to the ER spent 5 weeks on high flow oxygen due to the massive blood clot in both lungs and weighing down my heart due to the size of the clot it squashed my heart down to half its size, my body was riddled with smaller clots I was bed ridden for 4 weeks before they would even let me out of bed. I wear a mask now I spent the money for a blooming top quality mask. I now live on blood thinners for rest of my life because of it.

Good to see that PPE, such as dust masks, safety footwear, eye protection and the like are being totally ignored, as usual. Don't want to make these peoples' lives too comfortable, after all.

Yep. The owners probably pay them $1 - $2 per day. For many of them, if they don't work that day, then they starve until the next.
Note that even the patched together carrying cloth had a big hole in it.

I think a sweeping brush and a shovel is more in order in this place and a good clean up. All that dust floating about not good for those working there. I suppose that's what they are use to unlike us in the West.

How many times has this place caught fire already? Electric motors buried in saw dust, open drive belts running in saw dust, etc. The whole process looks like a work program geared towards involving as many people as possible in the most inefficient way possible, i.e. one guy loading the truck while 10 people are watching him?

    • @buggsy5

He may well be the only person big and strong enough to manhandle those bags overhead all day. And the owner is too cheap to get a belt conveyor.
