It seems like GH hasn’t improved their track watering/grooming techniques since I first rode there in 1980 back when it was called Arroyo Cycle Park. The track has always looked fun, and it is for the first 45 minutes of the day, but the fun factor drops off quickly after that. I know that some guys love GH, Villopoto and Josh Grant come to mind, but for all of the Vet guys who’ll be riding it for the first time… be extra careful 😁
After every race keefer says he wants to race something other than the Yamaha… keefer why do you keep doing this to yourself. Go far out there and race the beta make that vanilla and put some toppings on that bad boy.
I’ll keep saying it…track is lame. Same boring layout no berms no jumps . So much potential and yet they don’t update the course ever!! There’s a reason fox raceway stays busy on there ride days…..and GH is pretty empty……I can’t be the only one that feels this way…. If they are gonna charge the same amount as all the other tracks in so-call as a rider I expect course changes ……all I see is an up-charge and no effort into making the main track as epic as possible. Now if they don’t want to put the effort in…..then keep the price at 25$ and continue as is……
Hyped. This will be my first world vets and first time riding GH.

Any idea if "Flash" Gordon Ward still races this race?
They're not going up the front of Mt. St. Helen this year? I would be upset if I traveled there for that race and didn't get to go up it. Bummer
@@jkell411 They are going all the way up and back around. This is most of the lower portion of the track just not Mt. Saint Helens.
Kris… for that race are the motos timed or a certain number of laps?
SoCal vetx is claiming world vet layout for tomorrow's race. I wonder if this is it or are they gonna open up the full layout?

@@JimG1964 My current 350 is torn apart. Building engine so we can get up those hills even better. It will be a Garage Build on Racer X.

The watering does suck and it’s extremely fast with no jumps. 4th 5th gear. Very dangerous. Lots of serious injuries there. I hate the place

could you take a 450 with the worst forks and put this bikes forks on it and see if it helps?
@@Joe-pb3lx I have. It doesn’t help that much. Chassis makes a big difference in feel.
I rode Glen Helen for the first time last month, the two lane corners are so lame, track ends up being two feet wide, silly!
One of these days, will at least ride there. 20hrs flight from other side of the world.😂
