- We're back with some more road to #1 in the world on Geoguessr duels. Let's see how we go against one of the up and coming talents in the scene, who I face multiple times in this video. Enjoy!

Video idea for this channel: play along with challenge link, at the start of the round you point out the clues and metas you would base your guess on without saying where you would guess, then give the viewers a few seconds to pause and guess on the challenge link based on the clues you gave, before you reveal your own guess!!
This could be a great exercise for learning players that arent sure on metas or what to look out most for!

Central/Eastern Washington has a LOT of fruit. It's kind of the central valley of WA, so makes sense it would look a bit like it

@@geoguessr_explained I had to fact-check myself, and looking at a bunch of locations there may be a slight more preponderance of hedgerows, especially well-trimmed and substantial hedgerows, in Northern Ireland, but not a stark difference. I guess it's never mattered enough for me to double-check- and the loc here wouldn't fall under well-kept and substantial, so nvm

Heyo! Can anybody tell me when the Asia/Pacific world cup qualifiers actually are? And are they being livestreamed? Geoguessr website said 9-12th of May, but I haven't seen them go live or anything. I'm kinda new here and I feel like I missing something!

Don’t mean to sound rude but for a channel called Geoguessr explained you don’t really explain alot, only on a few rounds and fairly vague. Really like the content though but if you explained more it would be even better imo😊
The primary focus of these Duels videos are to try to get No1 in the world, not to explain each and every guess, because this just istn‘t the format for that.
He uploads these videos here because they don‘t fit on the main channel. Creating a separate channel just for this series wouldn‘t be worth it
You actually learn this way too, he explains the things he observes every round possible

I say zi8gzag is a good commentator, better than most players in concisely communicating key observations like plants, roads, copyright, camera quality, car, mountains, coastlines, cityscapes...
the format doesn’t permit full explanations, but i try to get as much in as i can
