I lived for 4 years opposite to shakuntala room (jaffery hall, 2nd floor). I have always seen it from my room window, there is nothing at all. I saw it in midnights of thunderstorm season as well out of crosity, there is nothing at all. Just rumours. Actually the roof is broken and uni has no fund to fix it. Now unihas kept it for attraction only.

Mine first night in Islamic uni hostel was also horrible bcz our senior room mates told us sprites related to top floor of the hostel that you will listen horrible sound after 12 am and it letrly happened after 12 am . Idk it was just fun may be created by our seniors but one thing was unclear that top floors doors were locked and expect hostel managemt no one was allowed to go there . If they went there during our stay they informed students before their arrival . But I still remember those horrible nights

I have spend for years here and attended daily 3 classes everyday here as a student 19 years back. I have not witnessed anything. If we will close any room for such a long time these activities will take place.
When we used to study in LCWU, the condition of room was far more scary than now. It has been cleaned and painted now. But almost 10 years ago, it was totally different. It was locked and blocked by large wooden blocks and old cupboards, no one was allowed to step even near it. There were trees grown inside the room, coming out of the windows and door cracks. and The room was almost burnt.... VC was extremely strict about anyone going near that room.
Oh God, old memories, u r so right, I studied there 30 years ago and it was much messy at tgat time. Not only the room but the area around was all restricted

If you hear such things about some place or someone you actually start feeling like that. Yes,I studied here a long time back for about 4/5 years but we heard and talked about it just for fun....none of us took it seriously or experienced anything .This is because, alhamdulillah we were a serious and focused lot, though fun loving as well.
Lived there 2 years. Hostel life was like a beautiful dream. Never saw anything unusual though heard a lot of stories. My cousin and I were obsessed with paranormal stuff so we tried breaking in but there were huge lock and the doors were jammed. We broke a window and took a sneak peak. There was a tree inside the room coming out of the roof. Nothing scary LOL but hauntingly beautiful. About the handprints on the wall, girls must have done it in her remembrance. Rumor has it that she broke a window with her hand and then left a print of her blood-soaked hand on one of the walls before she jumped off the roof of the hostel. This is what I have heard. Hanging ka tou nahin suna tha pehle.

Yes,I studied here a long time back for about 4/5 years but we heard and talked about it just for fun....none of us took it seriously or experienced anything .This is because, alhamdulillah we were a serious and focused lot, though fun loving as well.

Lived there 2 years. Hostel life was like a beautiful dream. Never saw anything unusual though heard a lot of stories. My cousin and I were obsessed with paranormal stuff so we tried breaking in but there were huge lock and the doors were jammed. We broke a window and took a sneak peak. There was a tree inside the room coming out of the roof. Nothing scary LOL but hauntingly beautiful.
About the handprints on the wall, girls must have done it in her remembrance. Rumor has it that she broke a window with her hand and then left a print of her blood-soaked hand on one of the walls before she jumped off the roof of the hostel. This is what I have heard. Hanging ka tou nahin suna tha pehle.

In 93 I was in college and in this block I had my history class.....at that time this shakuntala story we heard ....
I studied in fsc2001-2002 saw room named as shakuntala rest of old hostel was functional .only yhat room named ss shakintalas had no roof and a big tree in the room and no horrific vibes
