Glad the Cowabunga Collection came out so I could replace this gem. I never sold it, my original GB copy was sadly stolen while I was in college along with my original Game Boy. That was sadly over 20 years ago so im unlikely to see it again.
If anything, it was a nice change that Mike's hover ability made him OP in this game. The other games from this time period where beat em ups like Turtles in Time & Donatello staff that made him the OP one. Sorry Leo but in these games your not really the leader. 😆
This is the most competent playthrough of this game that I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing. Everytime I've started to play this game, I just get lost. Thanks for showing me the way.

This sure was in my childhood when I had this game, and man ohh man, I can't believe you smoked all these guys, even with all of them one battle area, it was rough, I mean, come on! you got past all those bad guys with ease.
Angelostar88 Honestly, there was no possible way I would be able to beat the final boss like that, I struggled to get past the snake boss and that Dino boss, those guys were tough, and with Shredder a boss like that? Yeah, right. lol. I could not even begin to tell you how I struggled through it all. And yet, you smoke through them like they were an everyday thing. Great work man.
After i finalized this run I was very happy with the video, I made a few mistakes here and there but nothing to bad (I think XD), but after some time I was a little bit sad about the 2 hits I got against shredder..... otherwise it would have been a PERFECT boss run, something I have never done in my whole life! And I have also to say that this was my best boss run I have ever had with only 2 hits in total! But I think it's destiny that this a**hole hit me twice and also shows that I'm only a human! XD By the way: I'm happy that you appreciate the video! It was no easy task at all! XD :-)
Ohh yeah, I can definately tell that it would have been a perfect boss run, but, want to blame something? Blame AI, that's the one that will always get you on the ropes. Always finding a weakness to the characters that you play, no matter what.

Danke! :-) Ja, da ich das Spiel schon seit frühester Kindheit besitze, war es für mich nicht mehr allzu schwer...... das wichtigste war einfach, dass ich mir die Route nochmal verinnerlicht habe, die Gegner und Bosse waren mehr oder weniger ein Klacks! ;-) Also nicht aufgeben, sondern nochmal üben und vorallem die Bewegungsabläufe/Attacken der Gegner lernen! :-) Und ja, ich finde diesen Teil auch mit Abstand am besten, da mir das "Metroidvania"-Spielprinzip eher zusagt als das sich ständig nur wiederholende Linear-Rumgekloppe der beiden (trotzdem tollen) Vorgänger! :-)

PS: Es ist das Einzige GB Spiel (ausser den Pokemon Editionen) welches ich heute noch besitzte UND auf den "Original" Game Boy spiele und das soll was heißen.

Eric James Yes, this game is absolutely underrated and for me among the best games for the Game Boy! I'm happy that I was introduced to this game very early because it was one of my first Game Boy games that I owned (and own until this day).

The 3rd Game Boy TMNT is an amazing metroidvania game.
Yeah, it's the great predecessor to games like Castlevania - Symphony Of The Night! :-D
