I’m honestly surprised you didn’t remove the wheels first. I always do that before baking inline skates. Also surprised you still haven’t done anything with the Marsblade R1!
what model do you have? Do you like the boots vs other blades out there? Some people have commented the boots are not really good vs other hockey blades and to just buy the chassis to retro fit your old blads. That seems a bit excessive unless you reaaaallllly love your current boots. Im coming from old 'play it again' used missions, so I have no skin in that argument.
Was kinda confused if I should bake them together, or back to back, or bake one and wear both for 15 mins and then bake the next one and wear both for 15 mins.
As a 50 years old beer league player that still uses shaft and blades I use my heat pistol for new skates ! I always forget all that's cooking at home and it always get burned so I like it better that way
Hello and great video. I am getting the new Bauer 3X roller hockey skates. I saw a video saying they dont recommend baking them at home. But since I dont have access to a skate oven my choices are slim. So if I bake them at home do you say wheels on or off? Thanks....and oven to 175? I was also reading about using a hair dryer but not sure about that.....thanks, Glenn
Yup! You can do this with any mid to high end skate. The cheapest ones don’t really benefit from them but most good skates have heat moldable gel, foam, or boot
I bought my roller skates: Bauer RS Senior Roller Hockey Skates. But when I am using them, I can’t do a hockey stop. But when I am using them, I can’t do a hockey stop. The wheels are sticking on the floor, especially in the road. I can’t seem to stop. Do you think I need to change my wheels? Can this roller skates change the wheels or not? Please help me out. If so, which wheels are compatible to do a hockey stop on an asphalt road? The pre-build wheels on this roller skates are kinda like a rubber/silicone type, so they tend to stick on an asphalt road making me fall when I attempt to do a hockey stop. Even a T-stop sometimes I fall.
Can you bake skates more than once. I baked mine in store and feel that I wanna bake them one more time to break them in a bit more cause they’re very stiff
You can. Just be very mindful of the eyelets because they are the most susceptible to damage after they've been baked. Each bake exposes them to more wear and tear. I re-baked a pair of my ice skates not long ago, but was pretty cautious. 6 mins at 175.
@FC Atlas I did end up getting them! The boot is amazing and comfortable. Stiff but fit me great; I fit well into the CCM tacks as a reference. However, moving from regular roller to Mars has been a little tough for me. Something about the shortness of the 'blade', and the way that the wheel moves even after I feel it touch the ground kinda throws me off. It's taking me some getting used to, but I feel a lot more confident now after a handful of times wearing them. If you are already using rollerblades they might take some time to get used to. I also skate on ice a few times a week fyi.
@@Mike_Jones68 I did get Marsblades. I had purchased the previous years' model because they were discounted. I got the same size that I wear for my CCM ice skates and it fit well. The blades were different, it took a few hard sessions to get used to how they moved.
Old but I’m sure you bake one a time, due to space and time lacing up one, the other skate would cool down. And it makes sense to heat the oven back up to 175 and shut off again. I’m doing mine right now, and came to those conclusions and had to think about it too.
My question is, are all skates able to be baked? I got a pair of Tour code 9 ones ($120 skates nothing special) figured I'd ask around because Google is not helping 😂
Coach barely uploads but when he does they are so funny
Jeremy you apsolute LEGEND!!
I'm just getting back into street hockey after not playing for about 20 years. Forgot how to bake skates so, thanks for this video, and wish me luck 😁
I’ve been waiting for this
Great video coach, was awesome having you on the Slangin the Bizkit podcast!
My Marsblades secret recipe: turn up temp all the way. Let sit under broiler until a charred goo. Carefully dispose in trash.

Removing wheels/bearings from inline skates is suggested but not necessary.
Should have released the “baking” video yesterday. The coincidence would have been comical.
What would the coincidence be?

Greetings from Germany. I play inline skater hockey for the Eisbären-Juniors-Berlin. I've also baked my inline skates in the oven and a hockey stick 😜
Smell delivered!
01’s are fire! IMO 🔥
Thanks man! Worked well!
I have Marsblades, and didn’t bake em but they still fell great
Same but after seeing this, we are baking ours tonight - with the pizza too!

Wheels off
Do you have a video for how you made the stick handling deking practice contraption with the car battery?
I have rollerblades too and I'm just about to start hocky in few month and I don't have breaks in my rollerblade because I'm pro
That’s like the best food, skates!
Does it work with other kinds of skates other than marshblades

Nice vid man keep it up 👍
Haha i Love this Video😂
Cookin blades
Mmmm that costco hot sauce is soo good though
Is it 175° F or C???
Should you not take the wheels off?
you should do a 2v2 with on the bench
The biscuit and boot chef
Just don't bake your skates at all as it compacts the sqishy padding so your foot isn't sucked in with pressure anymore.
The music 😅👌🏻
How tight do you lace them up. I like my skates very tight. Should you lace really tight or lace Kanda loose.
blade gang
Do a review of the hockeyshot sauce phenom
I have just had a look at those expensive Marsblade OT-1... . How much customs does one have to pay for a pair of Marsblades to the UK?!
Where are the shades from might have to cop
How loose do you set your rocker, I’m having a hard time getting it set to my liking
I havent seen rollerblades in 30 years, seems the heel brake feature is missing wtf?

I just got the wm03 mission inhalers but I’m not sure on what the instructions are on baking them
And how would I be notified should I have to pay customs?
OMG LETS ROOL 😂😂😂 SOO FUNNY
Blade Gang where you at?
⬇️
Wondering if this works with ice skates. If so, would you have to take out the blades or anything that’s an extra step?
Yup, do it the same way
Every major manufacturer recommends not baking your skates in home ovens. It voids the warranties on Bauer and CCM skates.
Does this work for Hockey Ice Skates too?
Heartbeat hot sauce, niiice
fun... I need a new set of rollers.... I'll look at marsblade.

six to nine minutes, classic.

Fahrenheit or celsius?
Do you like mars blades or regular?
Does this work on Marsblades only, or does it work for other rollerblades too?
Most hockey skates ice or roller can be baked an will come with baking instructions
I think I’m pretty early. I like it!
4:22 yeah, I think they're on the wrong foot coach.
Must be the wide angle lens 🤷♂️
CAn you test the new and the old marsblade?
0:37 No wander the store doesn't accept my skate return
What would happen if you forgot to bake a new skate??? Can you do this at any time, later?!
Did you bake them one at a time?
If yes, did you need to reheat the oven before putting the second skate in?
Sorry if these are stupid questions! 😂
Yes to both questions.

Honestly baked skates should be a massage technique
What a good tittle

and the wheels? do not melt?
My question is, are all skates able to be baked? I got a pair of Tour code 9 ones ($120 skates nothing special) figured I'd ask around because Google is not helping 😂
the lower end one's are better of without baking
No, you cannot bake all skates, they must be heat moldable
Hi
where did you get those shades ??
Cool that’s so cool
What is he naming his ball hockey team??
How tight should you tie them after the bake
As tight as you can, but you pull the laces out and not up. If you don't, you risk pulling the eyelets out.
Maybe it's just me but I never bake rollerblades with the wheels on.
175F or 175C?

lmao casually takes skate out of oven
