The gas mask is my favorite part of ITR, so I think that is a great idea.

now. i would LOVE to see at least some artifacts required to access certain areas. maybe a certain path opens or door opens if ya have a certain one with ya, or maybe bring a certain amount of of a variety. iunno. just throwin stuff to the window, see if it sticks!

Also i think a cool perk would be one where anomolys are highlighted (like they have a sort of visible aura surrounding it) so its easier for you to identify threats

man, i am so excited
*I have never used a grenade, or any throwable weapon in the game, mostly because I have a history of blowing myself up with explosives in VR games. I have always stuck to either assault rifles or sniper for long range & starting out with obvious PM, then my go to M9 Beretta, I have never used either Magnum or any other handgun in the game.*
i started using them because i was getting so many and a empty cigarette pack sells for almost as much, i blew myself up a lot which was disheartening but when you actually land a cool nade it feels super awesome
*I used to use the Regen artifact when I was in a pinch low health during a firefight. But I realised I was wasting them as I had amassed a huge collection of the Injectors filling a whole cupboard with them for reasons I still don't know.*
For those hardcore players with permadeath a artifact that teleports you to the nearest safe house or generally safe area for when you take leathal damage
Please, make mechanic where you can sharp knife so they dont ruin

Finally the night vision artifact would no longer be useless if you just put it in a glove

Honestly I don't like the direction this sounds like its heading, the Stalker system that they are talking about is all fine and good, but the active effects of the current ITR artifact system has a lot more potential for creativity. Artifacts that actually have a tangible, visual, and audible effect on you and the world around you are far more interesting than just some in game numbers changing off screen. We will have to wait and see how things pan out though
True it sounds much less exciting on paper. The devs made it sound like it performed well during playtests and was fun, but we will definitely have to wait and see
I think it should be able to be turned on or off depending on the playthrough, kind of like the iron man setting
Me personally, I’d like the artefacts that require activation like the regen need a specific action to “activate” it. Like, I love the idea of first feeding a regen with an energy drink, then making it into a paste and applying it to a bullet wound.
Dude I think it would be sweet if they had a artifact that gave you x ray vision or like heat signature and when you use it you can only use it five times or something and it only lasts like ten seconds each time you use it. In my opinion it would be an absolut clutch and pretty cool
best one I can think of is a semi active like the "high alert" perk from call of duty or Wraith's passive from Apex, where you get an audio or visual cue when something looks at you
My favourite artifact would be the one that makes my grenades fly further than one meter away whenever I throw them as far as I can with my index controllers. True story.
imagine artifact sets similar to how gear sets exist in the division 2. it would actually go really well with their progression philosophy and also give the players incentive to work towards building their builds. This also means the devs can get creative with enemy encounters and bosses and put actualy hard content into the game
we also need that one thing I herd on a tape that said of something that gives you night vision but blinds you if you use it in the light.
i think a perk that makes enemy fire have a 15% chance not to hit while sprinting would be nice, like a dodge build.
that or a artifact that increases detector range and accuracy would be pretty cool
No, 'the' BTR will not be in ITR2. It will in fact be a bunch of Harvesters riding BTRs cruising around like a goddamned motorcycle gang. The Radius will burn. 🔥

I would love a perk that outlines enemies or decreases player noise/lowers enemies detecting of the player

Name: Lightfoot
Trigger: Leaving Vanno while Under 10kg
Desc: For 10min , have unlimited stamina
Timer: Effect wears off on duration , once explorer weight exceeds 10kg, or when returning to Vanno
Charge: Does not charge untill explorer returns to vanno
Name: Heavyweight
Trigger: Out in the world over 30kg
Desc: For 10min, stamina regen increases by 100% and removes the weight penalty from 30kg-40kg
Timer: Effect wears off duration , when the explorers weight goes under 25kg or exceeds 40kg , or when returning to vanno
Charge: Does not charge untill explorer returns to vanno
==Weapon based artifacts==
Name: Eagle eye
Trigger: When holding your breath
Desc: Allows for a clearer picture removing most of the fog where the explorer is aiming
Timer: No timer, based on how long the breath is held
Charge: No charge
==Util==
Name: Adrenaline Junkie
Trigger: eating a combination of 3-4 Energy drinks or Candy bars
Desc: Stamina consumption reduced to 50% while regen increases to 20%
Timer: 10min
Charge: Once every 20min
Name: Stalker
Trigger: Holding the Detector and probes
Desc: Gas mask doesnt break
-Damage from ALL anomalies reduced by 75%
-Reflector anomalies knockback reduced to 50%
-Increases the recharge of shock anomalies(if in ITR2) from 3s to 7s
-Permanent footprints(Steps artifact) (disappears after 30s)
>>Damage to explorer from other sources increased by 25%
Timer: None, Must be holding both Detector and probes
Charge: No charge
I think a good debuff for eagle eye would be, as the longer you hold your breath, the blurrier the vision gets
In my opinion they went the complete wrong way. I might be wrong and it is just my opinion but the active effects were what I loved
Maybe not the complete wrong way but random passive effects that I forget about don’t sound that fun
I want to be able to communicate with my deaf friends through sign language in any vr game that allows multiplayer.
I just hope this game has a gesture system I can use for that.
A friend of mine showed me the original game and had to use a knife in one hand to assist their dominant hand in sign language with the limited gestures they have available during a streaming session so they could communicate with me without them constantly taking off their headset to type to me.

Tbh I’d love for there to be a base defense or ‚defend this spot in the radius for X minutes‘ side mission
Just something I can do to really get into a big immersive firefight to use all my ammo without the constant though of „if I drop my mag here instead of doing a slow reload am I going to find it again?“
Also I urge for a pet pecho at home base, however an ITR1 style pecho, the ITR2 looks neat but not pet quality
Effects on an artifact eh? Two of them. Mhh.
The ability to zoom in without a scope and aim stabilization. In the most panicked situations my hands shake way too much to line up a proper shot.
Getting better at it, but I'd love to waste less ammo

Kind of a random question but when you are done with into the radius 1 can you still play it ?
Yes, you can go back into your save and play as much as you want and after the game is done you'll probably still have a bunch of missions you haven't done so you can still do those.
