The last round consists of a full reference, an online meeting, an online essay writing and 50 minutes reading and listening english test. I’m a little bit nervous about that I can do it or not. That’s why I’m here watching your video kkk. Thank you for sharing your experience🥰🥰🥰
In Poland recruitment process is different. In online Pre-Application we have to fill some information about us, then already 3 essays. We had more than 3300 people applying online this year and only about 400 went through to the semifinals (I'm one of them!). Then in the semifinals we have many things: meeting; another 3 essays to write, but this time in class in 45 minutes; ELTiS test; group task; interview; and finally Final Application to fill, even though nobody knows if you'll get through to the end. I had my semifinal in November and I'm pretty satisfied with my responses, so I hope I'll be one of 43 people from Poland spending their next school year in the US. Now probably waiting till the end of April..

you have to probably retake the year in your home country. Most schools in my country have really different education systems soo yeahh,, really depends on the school. Some allow you to do individual work or sth but that would probably not let you enjoy the exchange year as much since you pretty much need to complete double amount of schoolwork.
@@chrisezar8798 what do you mean? I was literally told that on the FLEX program QnA zoom. It may really depend on the country though, but in most cases it's lots easier to just retake the year in your home country because the schools, subjects and classes are so different. Perhaps some countries do accept the year in the US but in Estonia(my home country) you would really just end up struggling a lot to keep up with all the subjects that barely even exist in the US + all the terms in different languages :( A lot depends on you though. If you can do two schools at the same time, amazing!!

For research, it helps to look up “program name” racism and if the program has this issue look into what programs they are associated with. It’s also important to look up if the area has crime. You can message me if you have questions. The hate crimes going on are so gross and it needs to stop.
It's okay to feel that way. I think everyone feels the same before the testings. Just make sure it won't mess up your performance. I went on the testing with some other friends. Spending time with them, having fun, helped me relax and calm down. Maybe there is something that helps you as well.

Are you applying from Russia?
How did you keep up with your school back home?💞
you have to probably retake the year in your home country. Most schools in my country have really different education systems soo yeahh,, really depends on the school. Some allow you to do individual work or sth but that would probably not let you enjoy the exchange year as much since you pretty much need to complete double amount of schoolwork.
@@kkajakas no you don't
@@chrisezar8798 what do you mean? I was literally told that on the FLEX program QnA zoom. It may really depend on the country though, but in most cases it's lots easier to just retake the year in your home country because the schools, subjects and classes are so different. Perhaps some countries do accept the year in the US but in Estonia(my home country) you would really just end up struggling a lot to keep up with all the subjects that barely even exist in the US + all the terms in different languages :(
A lot depends on you though. If you can do two schools at the same time, amazing!!

When I returned home, some of the grades of the classes that were the same were transferred in the system, and for the classes that were different, I had to take tests so teachers could give me grades. I didn't repeat the year.
There are people who willingly repeat it, because it works better for them, but you don't have to.

Hey! Congratulations!!! Could you please share the names of essays which you have faced on the 2nd round, please, please, please ❤️
@@nazlihangeldiyeva6209 Hey, on the 2nd round i got 3 questions. The 1st one was a question about how did I do something with a group of people within the last 2 years.
The 2nd question was about why am I participating in the Flex Program and what encouraged me to participate in itm
The 3rd was something I know how to do well within the last 5 years i think. I dont really remember the 3rd question but it was something like that. Anyways answer all the questions on the round and try to write a lot and it actuallt gets more attention that people who only wrote on 1 side. So I hope this was clear if u dont understand or if there is something to ask, just ask me.
@@amarb8217 thanks a LOT❤️❤️❤️ what about the 1st round? Was it easy or lil bit tricky?)
@@nazlihangeldiyeva6209 the 1st round was quite easy because the 1st round's test had the basic english tests. And you have to answer 16 questions in 15 mins
@@amarb8217 oh, thank you❤️ we have the 1st and 2nd round this Sunday) and I'm freaking afraid of it)

Am facut un Q & A.
My English is not very well can it bring me problems for applying for this program?
It depends on your level. If it is very bad, it could be a problem.
so what happens to your school from home?
Hey! I applied this year, passed the first round with the essays, i also submitted the 2nd round with the use of English test but now i don’t know what to do. It’s been a month since i submitted both of the applications and still haven’t received any response by mail or phone call. Should i be concerned? What should i do?
Me too i am really nervous but they should answered at the latest November
It depends on your geographical region, some people already got the results and some haven't
I just got the email today, i didn't pass:(
@@iva9858 yup i know. But they said that we will be contacted in November and half of it it’s already gone
@@radwcu59_65 if you applied for flex, they informed me in the middle od the november. (16th November, exactly) ...did they send you an email at the end?
Do you get credit for your school year abroad

Made a Q & A.
Tomorrow, I will have an exam of FLEX, what should I do?
Wait?
Saidshoh Nazarov have you passed?
Hello! Can u give me some examples of essays that they're giving you? Pleasee
Make sure to research which programs you study with. I have heard of some programs have relocated kids and put many Asian students in areas that had high hate crime rates. We shouldn’t support a program that supports anti-Asian hate. Please stop Asian hate! So please make sure to research before you go..
@@Elizabeth-fy3ud flex program is really okayyy, they're not homophobic, neither racists, they support each person and encourage u to be yourself
@@nuconteaza748 I’m just spreading awareness on doing research in general. The hate crimes that are happening are so disgusting and it needs to stop.

Approximately how good do you have to speak English? Minimum intermediate?
it is important only to understand simple words from everyday life of an american, i would say middle school is enough

Cate valize poti sa-ti iei? Inainte sa pleci aflii in ce stat?
Salut
Cam cati trec in a doua runda?
Si cand ai dat tu.probele
Cati ati ramas dupa interviu?
