It’s also so incredibly hot and humid in that cave that you can’t go in without a full body suit and oxygen- and even then, the few scientists that have been there can only go inside for roughly 20-30 minutes max. One man died there because he was curious and went inside by himself and they later found his body. He was basically cooked alive. It’s an extremely interesting but very dangerous place.

They were mining for silver. They drained this cave. This is Selenite. Selenite grows in a mineral bath that is between 135⁰ and 145⁰. If you go in the cave, you have to be monitored because it's so hot, so your time is limited. They are supposed to eventually close the mine and let it refill with the mineral bath. Once it is flooded, the crystals will start to regrow. Selenite is considered pure white light that does not need to be cleared. It actually clears negative energy from other crystals. It is a great crystal to meditate with.

They are closed to the public. No one is going to disturb them. The problem is that those caves were filled with water before the miners blocked the walls and the reason why the crystals got so big is because the water helped the grow while minimizing damage from geological movements. So now that the water isn't there some have already fractured. It's extremely hot in there so it's difficult to spend a lot of time in there, but I really hope someday someone goes down there and does a very detailed video of the cave for the rest of us to enjoy.

One thing I want to say about nature, that's it maintains its stability through various ways which is way beyond human discoveries, we should protect the natural discoveries, we shouldn't use/destroy them for any other gains. As humans also well know that when humans destroys nature it creates problems for humans.

I have seen these on a program. You can only go in for a very short amount of time. The temperature in this cave is extremely high! The air, if I remember correctly, is toxic to breath. These are the conditions in which the crystals were formed and the reasons why they were formed. If they were to ventilate the cavern, then the formation of crystals would stop.

It's absolutely sickening at how much we continue to destroy her and take her for granted!!! I, myself, am utterly ashamed of the role I've played and in some ways continue to play in polluting, basically killing the very thing that we need to survive, and wouldn't be here if not for her!!!! 💔😢🥺

Those are gypsum crystals. They only grow in a very wet environment or in sweet water. Dry air destroys them. It‘s dangerous to go inside, because the humid air doesn‘t allow the sweat to evaporate which can lead to organ failure.
