If people are just criticizing this vehicle why are they even bothering to watch this video if they're just hating on it? Hey! It's a damn car takes you from one place to another! Or would you rather walk?
Got a 2013 versa base model manual trans and manual windows. 180k miles and i've beat the hell out of it and it still runs strong. you can get these cars for 4-6k on 50-60k miles. hate all you want but the car is practical and reliable as all get out for the price. haven't changed anything on mine but a battery and alternator and the usual maintenance. don't listen to this guy, if you need a reliable daily for the cheap a versa is definitely the way to go, it ain't luxury cause it isn't supposed to be but it is a very affordable all around
I have a 2019 Versa but I just travel to work and back which is like 5 miles . And for that it’s great . I know these cars are shitty but at the same time it’s cheap on gas and affordable brand new . So if you plan on just daily short commutes I don’t see a problem with this car . And let’s be honest , you got a bad pick on that Versa with the problems it had . The seat and radio problem is irrelevant
Well this is the only car I think I'm able to get in the next 2 weeks. College starts on August 21st for me and it's August 4th. This is one of the cheapest "New" cars I can get, and it's also the best option I've seen in used with reasonable miles.
Expecting more from something that is meant to be budget is setting yourself up for let down. Sometimes people can't afford nicer vehicles. Also, the dashboard height seems like a "you" issue. 🤷♂️
Thank you that you were honest and didn't lie and say you are 6 feet like almost all male car reviewers. I'm always waiting for the car reviewer to say they are 6 feet tall. I would much rather buy a car from a car reviewer that doesn't say the same old 6 feet tall. I don't know if you are a car salesman but I would likely buy from you because you seem very honest not saying you are 6 feet tall. You would have to sell the car for no more than retail with no add-ons I don't want. Also, I rented a Nissan Versa that was around a 2016 years ago, and it put me in a lot of pain in my back due to tge seat, so I know what you mean. New Subscriber a d thanks for your honest review.
Own this car and live it for a lot of the reasons you hate I love how basic i just use as a a to b car gas is cheap so far I haven’t had any mechanical issues with just keep up with the routine maintenance.
I have a Nissan Versa SV 2018 with 55k on. I have to say it's not the greatest car, I use it to drive short distances in the city, my car looks better than yours and everything works just fine. You rented a normal car that has a lot of things broken and is covered in mud plus stinks, I would not even rent a car that looks like that one.
I got a 2015 Kia Soul base with 263k miles (24 US MPG city/32 highway/26 interstate), thinking about this car since the MPG rating is 31 city/39 highway.
He is being extra. Your negative input about a nissan versa isnt about the actually make and model its about the poor establishment you rented it from. I have 2018 nissan versa it is however a manual and no problems and he complains about it being roomy but I am a tall broad female and its pretty roomy for me. High ceiling and jusy a compact car wh8ch is what i was looking for. No issues ive had iy for 5 yrs bought it preowned with 6,000 miles and its doing well for me. Great on gas. I do doordash a.d its awesome
a terrible car when compared to a honda civic, but it is also thousands of dollars cheaper and will get you from point a to point b. it feels slow and sluggish when i compare it to my gmc sierra.
A car like this is just what you needed if your requirement is just to go from point to point. But you’re into sheer driving pleasure and all of those endless list of things that aren’t much of a big deal to the average person, then it’s not for you. And definitely the problem is you and not the car. You want nice, get a Mercedes or Bimmer if you can afford the maintenance.
@@driveandreview If you keep the same spunk and hilarious honesty with the beaters, I think you may have great results. Everyone does the "nice" cars. Beaters need love too lol
I have two cars Nissan versa 2019 and Ford mustang 2014 the Nissan versa is smaller because It's small car but I used for winter and it's good car very cheap on gas and I like it I had in the past 10 different cars American and Japanese cars but there is nothing wrong with Nissan versa ofcourse I like my Ford mustang 2014 the best it is best car that I ever owned I fast and very comfortable
It was a rental car (that I wasn't even planning on renting). Figured it would be fun to make a spur of the moment video about my experience of driving a new-to-me car. Seesh.
I rented the same car during a vacation trip in 2019. I definitely did not like this car at all. It feels cheap everywhere! When I got home, I was very glad to get in my much older car. 2008 Lexus IS250. It might be older, but certainly drives better, smoother, and faster. Older but a much more superior car. It totally defeats this slow Versa for sure.
Even without having watched the review; If the steering actually CENTERS, it's a better car than the Toyota Yaris or Aygo :D. Now going to watch the video. Just wanted to make that clear.
@@driveandreview I heard in the Smith ‘n Sniff podcast that apparently the early 2000’s Corolla already has this issue. No Toyota for me anytime soon then.
I never drove one of these Japanese/Korean shitboxes for the American market. They seem all over though, I rode some of them as Ubers in Canada and they are just horrid. Noisy, uncomfortable, suspension is way off (uncomfortable but still not damping well), badly made interiors, exterior lacking any sort of inspiration. I'd say there's a limit to how far 'it gets you from a to b' can be taken, and the American market Asian cars are way, way beyond that limit. And I'm saying that as someone who drives a 850 usd 24 year old Volvo. Which has been serving me for over 7 years now. I'm happy :D.
I actually walked away from this thing thinking that it's the perfect car for people who need basic transportation to go short distances (and nothing else). I'm obviously not their target demographic, but...it's fun to complain about bad cars every now and then. 😂
How do you like the Mach E seat? I tried a Tesla a few months ago I ordered one sense because I spend so much on gas. I will have my model 3 in 3 of 4 months. The seats of the Tesla are the most amazing things I've ever sat on.
