can’t believe it’s been 20 years since 2004! The only bogart I’ve smelled so far even though I haven’t smelled many yet but it’s one man show,I think it dries down to something a little better but there’s something very harsh and synth about it that’s very unpleasant, but bogart signature and Furyo are my all time favourites
Congrats on 6K Ram 🎉😊 antoine lie did versace crystal noir for women in 2004 also i love it on them 🙃 cant wait 2005 ranking lots of favorites there.. Stay safe master till the next one ❤
Thank you so much Hub for the support since the start my friend 🙏🙏🙏 Still cant believe 6 thousand folks Subscribed to listen to me 🐏ble about perfume 🥲😅😂
That Bogart pour Homme is sickly sweet in the opening ! After 30 minutes it's lovely though ! It's definitely reminiscent of Pure Havane after some time
I really love Armani’s Bois D’Encense, but it only lasts about a half an hour on me. The only other fragrance from Armani Prive’ that I own is Iris Celedon, which is also beautiful but also only lasts about a half an hour on me. Thanks for the very enjoyable video Ramsey!
Cheers Rams 2004 very interesting year for sure I got a few from the year now, not back in the day my Amy’s goddam asthma don’t ya know lol😅anyways great job man ,oh the Absolut Aventus arrived and yeah save your money son hahaha, plus I got 10 ml of the newest batch of Aventus OG and yeah save your money on this also might slightly last longer than my 2021 batch ??? Maybe ? Maybe not 😅👍
@@RamseytheRam yeah ya definitely gotta sniff it at least Rams ,it has the Aventus dna it is darker, and goes in a different direction slight nod to Sauvage Elixir but nowhere a beast mod fragrance in disappears and re-appears on and off ,but mainly a skin scent after an hour, nice but not 320 euro nice no sir ✌️🙏👍
Escada magnetism is awesome, i still remember seeing it in the german department stores in the mid 2000s and being intrigued by the bottle design. I got me a 50ml bottle a few years back and rarely use it because its a special scent.
Makes the evening feel special for sure... a brilliant designer back when these houses still knew how to make a proper designer perfume Thanks for watching & commenting 🙂
Code holds a special nostalgic place in my collection since it is the first fragrance I ever bought right out of high school. It has a new version page because they just did a new bottle for it like the refillable Parfum flanker bottle, also with most of the notes in the description removed. It has been slowly been reformulated for worse over the years, luckily I still have an old 2005 bottle. I rarely wear it but the smell takes my back to my youth.
Hi Ramsey your content is super cool👌 Tell me please i love Jacomo de jacomo sentimental value but hard to find a vintage botte so I was wondering the niche fragrance who came closest ? If you know some référence 🙏 thanks
Ramsey, Thanks for video! I own 3 on your list. 1. Eau Noir(2019)*250ML 2. Bois D'Argent(2015)250ML 3. Timbuktu (Vintage bottle) ------------------------------------------------- You showed an older bottle of Timbuktu, different from what's currently offered. But if your not aware, there's an even older bottle than one you have. Great Stuff! I have a 2015 Bois D'Argent bottle & it has that amazing powdery smell! I'd love to get the cologne version you have,as it probably smells even better. Thanks for sharing! A2!
I think it’s due to nostalgia but in 2004 I was in college and I remember smelling Armani Code and it replaced Le Male as my signature (obviously pre giant obsession, err collection). I still have a 2007 batch and it has a super strong anise note that you don’t smell in modern bottles of it. Great on 2 Man, too. Best of CdG. I still rock Bois dArgent, green Eau Noire, LIDG, and 2 Man. Also, nostalgia shout out part 2 to Burberry Brit and the overly perfumed marketing woman at King of Prussia mall in late 2004 who forced a Brit mini on me. I wore that shit to a job interview the next day. 😂
Armani Code was called Code Black in 2004, later it just became Code. I don't think the formulation was changed then per se, but old bottles are quite different then what Code is these days (it was my signature scent for a decade before I got into perfumes)
A strangely elusive year for me. Lacoste Red pretty much defined that adolescent era; but it'd be a decade before I would discover LIDG. Good call on Ambre Narguille and Bois d'Argent. Aka, sugar 'n' spice and everything nice. 😊
LIDG without the E is close to the top of my Guerlain wish list right behind the ones I will never be able to find full bottles of like Metallica / Guet-Apens & Djedi 😬
10:02 "here I am it's 10 minutes in and I haven't even done one actual fragrance from the list" 🤣 Never change, Ramz!! On the hearing about newer Aventus batches smelling good again: I'm skeptical of this claim. I'd need to hear this from someone who has extended experience wearing an Aventus bottle from 2010-2016 (especially the birch tar years of 2010-2013) saying the new ones have the some quality and dimension for me to consider it. Otherwise I suspect it's someone trying to hype up their own decant side hustle. As for me I have enough older Creed bottles to last me a lifetime.
Hi Keeleye7225, I got a 15ml of Creed Aventus 2013 and it’s great, although I sprayed it the other day and I think the top notes are gone off sadly ,now I got a bottle of 2021 and it vanishes in a blink of an eye , I purchased a bottle of the new Absolut Aventus and I got a 10 ml travel atomizer of the latest OG Aventus and sadly it vanishes rather quickly also ,so there ya go that’s my 2 cents worth,oh the Absolut is just nice, nothing special and not worth the price point in my humble opinion ✌️🙏👍
The bottle designer of 'Full Choke' knew exactly what they were doing with that bottle!... you can't tell me otherwise 🤣 Definitely some real gems in 2004 for sure and Magnetism is right up there with the best. I actually have a full bottle of Vetiver oriental on the way whenever the package Rich Mitch has been sitting on for me finally arrives in Texas... one way or another I will get my hands on those perfumes! The name FULLCHOKE with that bottle 🍆😂
@@RamseytheRam definitely had other things on their mind when at the drawing board 🤣 I'm in UK and buy / sell, in Europe and US with no issues.... Europe you just have to say it's one bottle and a personal gift / present and that way customs aren't allowed to stop it... and when I sell to US, and actually just sent a bottle to New York 2 weeks ago, it has to go via a licenced forwarding company... So it's not that you can't post perfumes to the US by air mail, it's that the carrier wants it to be sent by a licenced and insured company who check the protective packaging is done correctly, I've used a couple of companies here in UK and never had an issues yet and they always get through customs and intact.... it just costs a bit more for the service.
"B*Men" - absolutely geniously brilliant name. What were they thinking about, who the f* wants to be a B man, even B Men don't want to be a B man lol, (I know it's related to comics, but damn, that was a smart sales move %)) Tried a bunch of L'Artisans recently including Timbuktu, didn't like it on myself, but think it would smell great on a guy. And yeah, I agree that it's much better than Terre

Nothing to do with perfume, but every time I hear Bogart perfume mentioned, all I can think of is the song “Don’t bogart that joint my friend”.
