    Have to admit i was really sceptical about your baits.Watched all of them and noted the processes down.Decided to give the Banoffee a go but with out the toffee,made up a batch and headed to the water yesterday. Big was my surprise when a carp actually picked up the boilie!! Not a huge one but never the less a Carp! Thank you for a alternative bait making process with ingredients found in the food cupboard!!Cant wait to give the corn ones a go!! Thanks once again!

    Hello my dear friend. Thanks for the delicious food for carp. Can you get carp with these foods? Do they use these foods as hook bait or do they use the same beautiful foods for field bait?

    Really appreciate these videos! However Anyone with basic cooking skills should know that you mix the dry ingredients 1st and the wet ingredients in a separate container before combining the two... you get a more consistent mixture and final product..

      As with basic cooking skills we also use an All in one method & just add a cheap raising agent. Only difference.

    If you don't add the turmeric will the boiles be the common brown colour as I'm not a huge fan of brightly coloured bait even though they produce a lot of success for a lot of people.

    Would it be fair to say the flour, Polenta, egg, cornflour and oats are a decent base for any boilie?

    Made a batch of these a few days ago and was very pleased with the result, however having left them to dry for 48hrs they have all unfortunately split open, I followed the recipe and they seemed fine, any ideas what I can do to stop my next batch splitting. Thanks

    • @baitvault
      @baitvault  7 лет назад +1

      You can either slow the drying process down or if you are struggling to stop splitting add an extra egg into the mix and compensate with flour to slightly dry out the dough. More eggs normally sorts out the problem 90% of the time.

    • @MrTestcurve
      @MrTestcurve 7 лет назад +1

      ok, thanks I'll try an extra egg in the next batch, the others won't go to waste as I;ll crumb them for PVA bag work.

    • @baitvault
      @baitvault  7 лет назад +1

      If you have the flour to dry the mix out slightly. I would go for two eggs if you can just to make sure your next batch doesn't turn out the same. Humidity, room temperature all plays a part in boilies splitting. I was going to suggest crush up the boilies and add them to a mix!
