RAZZERRR BLAADEE STFEAALLTTHH
RAAZZERRRR BLAAAADE STEAALLLFFTH
-Joel Zimmerman
"Serum you say?" 🤣
saw Vital, downloaded, is now in relationship with it
Of course razer took this down lol. I can’t get enough of deadmau5’s personality, I love how he is in this video haha. Thanks for the re-upload bro
why did they take it down?
Some sly sarcasm and swearing maybe?
lol he's just being Joel. His personality and general straight forwardness is great in my opinion :)
Remember kids Deadmou5 doesn't give a F*3K & YOU shouldn't either lol.
It was taken down because of Joel's feud with Carnage apparently... he was also doing this for razer too
Joel is like the middle school kid with ADHD and Duda is the tutor trying to keep the lesson on track. Both are brilliant, it's just funny to see the dynamic!
they could do a sitcom
no he's just funny. That's all.
Feel Good Techno you seem fun.
@@alexcazet2694 yeah sometimes i am
@@bgyukhnjm7837 Sick.
I get the vibe that neither wanted to do this but one was still taking it seriously.
I think both wanted to do it, but Joel felt embarassed and like a sell out cliche or whatever. He's genuinely sharing though, and his tips are great.
not every people are super whoopie shiny, mate
some people are just more serious, introverted
that might be the case for both of them
1:00 Mau5 saying I set the limiter to 0.3 - god knows why.
And Duda in his most un-patronising voice "Intersample peaking might be a reason" had me roll over :D
Like Joel got super schooled right there it was funny seeing Joel getting educated like that.
@Alex Soto Tbf, the fact it's there implies he knew. Just didn't say it for reasons unbeknownst to me.
@@urphakeandgey6308 the intersample peaking inside of him might be a reason
Probably -0.3
It's always interesting coming back to this video every couple of months and seeing the new little things I begin to understand.
I like how theres descriptions or “subtitles” below for Deadmau5’s language and Steve rephrasing it after for clear understanding or “confirmation” lol. Deadmau5 is a legend forsure, no one will ever be like him, or “his personality”.
This is amazing. I almost can't believe this was a real thing Razer tried to do.
i mean if you think about it, it was a good try. i bought a 2015 razor blade stealth with a free fruity license. marketing to the bigger and bigger bedroom producer market made complete sense, especially with how these laptops are positioned spec and price wise.
I admire these guys more than almost anything! Nice to see them seem so approachable.
duda talks without moving his mouth
I was thinking behind someone is speaking off camera 😂🤣
Yeah, thought the audio went way out of sync there for a while...
Damn dude. I wish you wouldn't have mentioned that. WTF I can't take my eyes off it now.
He's the 'no-moving-talker guy' but with that I'm going back in to screen-saver mode because I don;t know how I feel right now.
@YoStefan Made me crack dude! LOL
"Way way more fatter"
Best carnage burn of ALL TIME
when he routed it to the analogue and started opening the filter.. it pleased my ears so much
"The deadmau5 pluck, essentially, is a saw wave with a filter on it."
The bluntness killed me.
10:40 sounds so amazing
The information available in this video is truly amazing.
Love how these guys share their insights - thank you
I always come back to this cuz of how funny it is. They should do more of these
One heck of a music producer,,respect.
Love when he says 'and I go to external midi, right?! `
Deadmau5 is one of my biggest inspirations.
These dudes are true masters of the craft
Steve Duda is a humble genius , love it!
"Well cool" killed me
My fav part is when joel is just so done with steve explaining to him what compressors are.. starting at 1:13
Exactly the same here 😀that face of deadmau5'.
I mean, Steve is doing it for the viewers, not for Deadmau5. LOL
It's for the people who don't know, not for him. I know people pointed that out a long time ago but come on.
You read that completely wrong mate. Joel has a lot of respect for Steve in case you can't tell.
13:37 Made my day!
I love how straight forward Joel is. 0 Bull shit at all. Ultimate respect
Sungwoo Kim I’m only doing this because I like you. “Ultimate”
I love that shadow hills compressor. I hope you get to dive in on the Unisum Mastering Comp it's siiiiiiiiiiiiick!
I like how he uses the xfer plugin for ott instead of the ott in ableton
That analogue synth is all the sauce!
The secret sauce lol
I love Deadmau5!
Love both of them they are the pioneer of modern edm
Deadmau5 interviews and production videos Rock.. I use a lot of Trilian and omnisphere and a lot of what Joel says reminds me of the workflow with those tools. Experimentation and sound layering can get you really exciting results.
@0:57 :))) That was a question mark for me, also. Thanks to Steve Duda, and later to other sound engineers, I've learned about "inter-sample peak". People, don't forget about inter-sample peak! :)))
9:18 facts
6:24 Joel's look into camera is like "Oh why don't you just f@ck off!"
"Beautiful woman Steve Doodoo"
- UnderBelly
I could listen to steve talk all day
If you don't want to use Engineer's filter or a similar filter that's ultra-high-pole, you can also actually stack 4-pole cutoff filters in EQ8. Keep in mind that each filter you drop on top of the last in this situation reduces the amplitude south of the frequency point by 24dB/octave. For the longest time I used a -64dB/octave arrangement but I think I'm shifting it now because I'm worried the aggression is doing something funny up the spectrum.
xD the reason why they removed this video is cause Joel was giving them good feedbacks in which Razor saw this as a roast towards their shitty laptop.
This was awesome to watch and listen to
Ive been using retro rc20 on the master. very dope
8:59 has me so weak 😂
Mr T it’s my
Favorite part Lololol “copy and duplicate it like a cheap jerk” lmao
name a more iconic duo, I'll wait.
Laurel and Hardy
Daft punk
Excellent the video bro! Very important this topic! ;)
Best commercial actors ever lived ...
Love this man
Thank you for the tips, sensei!
You don't hear 20hz you feel it.
Assign an envelope to the cutoff filter to get the flutter low pass decay effect. Got it.
the channels labeled "shaker shit" and "Hats and shit", also "bass crap" are exactly what everyone should name their channels
I've started naming channels like this and it helps keeps things fun, def a protip
Steve Duda deserves a Nobel prize for sonic excellence. 😎
DUDA! DUDA!!
Well, cool!
Is this vid from a larger session that I can find somewhere? I don't really listen to Deadmau5's music anymore, but I sure as hell can learn a lot from him and Duda, so I'd love to see more from these guys.
I don't know the reason but I'm watching this video everyday. :D
Well, cool.
well cool
MORE please! :)
pretty cool
I just noticed deadmau5 moves like his waveforms.
Every time I see these guys together it makes me think of that Halloween show in LA years ago where Duda is wearing a mau5 head and starts playing Ghosts 'N Stuff and Joel sneaks up on him and "takes over." Classic.
Great lesson
the one guy i would love to teach me music production is deadmouse no bullshit just straight to the pont
I cut at 30 Hz with like 48db/octave, as long as there aren't any bass note fundamentals trying to occupy that region
10:40 yeahh
if you have too much low end at the mastering stage, should you have cut it at the mix stage ? even if at the end you have to cut below 20hz on the mastering channel ?
its pretty crazy how much headroom you can free up if you highpass everything that doesnt need
Well, cool
*LEGEND DEADMAU5* 💀🐭
@IGB PROductionz So true...!
Deadmou5 has the biggest set up he has so meny tools to use I would be lost for hours
“RZR BLADE STEALTH” he is a menace 🙄😂
16 voices in unison!
RIP CPU!
Yeah that's true
dude don't worry it's a Razer Blade Stealth
@@michaelpowell5692 Im talking about my 2011 Macbook Air! LMFAO!
Ryzen! 😁
deadmau5 has threadripper. VST-plugins is no joke when it comes to prosessing power, but there are ways to make stuff like this happen on computers with way smaller CPU.
miss the legendary Carnage masterclass
Lol
"Secret porn folder" in ableton library window..
I knew you were always one of us
"tHe dEaDmAu5 pLuCk" I fucking lost it
my god those arps. soooooo deeep.
10:41 sounds just like "Binary Finary - 1998"
Dope!
They are soo tired of each other 😅
@13:38 well, cool!
"More Music-y stuff."
"I'm just gonna copy this like a cheap jerk" 😂 deadmaus is hilarious ded💀💀
omg, what a smug bird! *miau* Deadmaus! ;D
This video was brought to you by Razer sharp arrogance...
Haha the "act like your acting" joke at the end is underappreciated
Audible! 👍
"There's no such thing as magical master chain thats just gonna make everything sound way way more fatter and better"
Yes there is.
It's called OTT.
(this is a joke)
“OTT is the MSG of EDM.” - Underbelly
me wondering what it sounded like before if 33% ott actually sounded good
hahaha, Joel's reaction at 13:38
Joel is Da Man
my two wolves
thanks to the youtube video compressor for taking away the opportunity to hear the difference between bass haha
❤️
HOW DO I STOP A GROUND LOOP BETWEEN MY DESKTOP AND ALL MY OTHER ANALOG EQUIPMENT? The ground loop is fersure being caused by my ethernet cable
Those two dudes looks like they just came out of South Park >
Or Wayne’s World LOL
Fucking love both Joel and Steve
LOL "It's little fun tricks like that to keep yourself from falling asleep, while making EDM.. which is pretty easy to do"
Razer is one of the most greedy companies I ever tried... but thanks for saving this :) that really Helped me
9:04 best part
Yeah
Chaotic neutral energy lol
why this was not in his master class course?
Outtakes..
