Hi Gio, great lesson as always. I want to ask soemthing though. The isActive column options was set to true by default. I thought that would be enough. How come we then had to explicitly set it to true in the userLoginCode entity constructor? What then is the use of setting rhe options default to true?

Good question. Doctrine ORM works at app level not at db level, default value in mapping is adding default value at db level. This GitHub issue might help you understand it better: github.com/doctrine/common/issues/847

@@ProgramWithGio oh wow. I've gone through it. I understand it better now. I wish it worked from the annotation but I guess it's not a bill deal to explicitly set it to true/false/null or whatever the default value should be.
