I have the Nomad stand and it’s fantastic. Like you said: there’s heft and weight to it so it doesn’t slide around when you’re detaching your phone from it. It charges my Apple Watch super quick while I’m in the shower, and it charges my AirPods Pro when not in use. Just a very solid product.

A useful gift like the Wuben E7 headlamp is very practical. I’d recommend it for anyone that like small gadgets, but also the need of accessible torch.
I think a good gift idea is a backpack. In particular, the North Face Surge. It’s a brilliant backpack that cannot only handle itself in the bush or a hike. But also a school or a work setting. It has a raised, armor plated back that keeps a MacBook of any size well protected. And a pouch directly in front of the laptop sleep that PERFECTLY fits a 12inch iPad Pro. Furthermore, you have a second large compartment in the middle. Check it out for about $150 when I go mine.

The anker MagGo 10K slim is my favorite by far. They were on sale during Black Friday down to $50, wish I had snagged one. Anker has also released even slimmer version just few days ago the 5k version but only available at Apple store.

If anyone wants good quality budget wireless earphones, the Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2 are great value. I got mine for $60, they have great noise cancelling, solid audio quality, intuitive app, and dual connection. Extremely solid piece of kit for $60!
I'm not a huge fan of mix/virtual reality, but I would definitely be curious to really try it at home to make a real opinion and I think the Quest 3 is a really nice one to do that. As an idea for someone deep in the Apple ecosystem, I'm eyeing the Apple TV as a replacement for my Chromecast Google TV. It's stil going strong but I've seen so many positive things about it I feel like I need to try it ^^
