As a Southern cook who lives in Buffalo, I agree with keeping the cat out, cleaning as you go and throwing whatever you want in a dish. I think those funeral potatoes would be good with bacon too. And by the way, you can wrap the banana stem with plastic, aluminum foil, a wet paper towel too. Love your videos!

I have beautiful memories of my mother having us tied to get dressed in the kitchen with the oven on. At night we placed our pillow on top of the oil heater and then run in the bed while it was still warm. Fell for this every single time.

Our family leaves the cornflakes off and instead either add crushed potato chips or those fried onion thingies the last ten minutes of baking ( otherwise they get to brown ) that people put in their green bean casserole. Don’t like green bean casserole but love the fried onion thingies 🥴! Love your videos and love you 😘

My favorite comfort food is one can of Pillsbury biscuits, 1 lb of ground beef cooked with taco seasoning. Grease your 8x8 square baking dish, layer your biscuits on the bottom, spread your cooked meat over the biscuits and spread 1 pack of shredded cheese, bake by the biscuits directions and the cheese bubbly melted. Have some taco sauce available to garnish. It’s just baked grease in a pan. So good. Ps. You should take us one a tea storage tour.
Literally just said, where is my girls upload and there you are! BTW, my whirlpool fridge makes the same noise it’s the ice bucket emptying and the water refilling the trays. That’s why it makes that noise. AND, my CB handle was Queen Bee when I was trucking. As for wrapping the end of the banana, either will work what it does is it prevents the fruit flies from getting in there, which is where most of the fruit eggs are laid
Cut cinnamon rolls with floss, too!! I have heard of funeral taters but now I will have to try them! Hell, my husband always told me I was making a mistake, but I'm not the one sitting on my dresser looking all ashy, lol!
I use my gas oven to heat up my kitchen lol. My house is old and drafty. Ever hang curtains or blankets in a doorway to keep the heat or cold in one room?
